This is my second time staying here, and I truly love everything about it. The space is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully provided for a wonderful stay. I also really appreciate the secure property entrance and the peace of mind it gives when traveling alone. Alan and Larissa are fantastic hosts; I hope my work brings me back to the area so I can stay here again! Highly recommend!

Clean, Comfy, and Super Welcoming!

I had such a great stay here! The space was clean, cozy, and felt very safe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the decor gave it such a fun vibe. I really appreciated the thoughtful extras like coffee, creamer, and muffins—it made the stay feel even more special. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to staying again next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

Extremely nice property, very comfortable accommodations, beautiful views, and wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the proximity to nearby trailheads for frequent hikes. About 35 minutes into Phoenix to visit our son, which was not a bad drive at all.. Highly recommend the Ironwood Ranch

Great getaway

Had a fantastic stay. Place is bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures. Location was a nice change from city life. Lot’s of room to roam and explore.

Loved being out in the country

Highly recommended. Be sure to stop for groceries on the way out to the ranch, about 45 min north of Mesa. Beautifully decorated loft above a workshop/horse barn. Very clean and smelled fresh. Comfortable bed. Luxurious sheets and towels. Lovely matching dishes and silverware. Owner provided fruit and muffins. We loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the mountains with our morning coffee. Plenty of privacy. Really enjoyed hearing the sounds of songbirds, owls, and wildlife. Could see beautiful stars at night. Fantastic easy hike at Granite Mountain Trailhead. We hated to leave. A huge thank you to Alan & Larissa Burgess!

Couldn't have been better!

Start with clean as can be, well-appointed and stocked, comfortable, neat western decor. Then there is the setting - surrounded by mountains, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the little balcony, and feeling remote but only 30 mins or so from "civilization" and the hubbub of Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. And then prior to arrival, Alan asking us what we take in our coffee and what kinds of muffins we like - and eggs - too much. Couldn't be better. We will be returning to the area and instead of starting with plane reservations, we'll look first at whether this rental is available. Couldn't have been better.

Country Loft

We had a very nice stay at this property. For us it worked out perfectly since our son and grandsons live only a 1 1/2 miles from there. We are from MI and loved the Ranch themed decor and property. Everything was clean and our host left us our breakfast for the morning(eggs, muffins, fruit & coffee/cream). Alan, the owner was very pleasant. Enjoyed chatting with him. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing; must see!

This is an incredible property with fabulous hosts. Don't think twice and book this. Impeccably clean and so beautiful. The decor and attention to detail i canr say enough about....and comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. Confortabkw beda and flufdy towels. Super spacious! And the views!!! The sunset was amazing and I can't remember the last time I saw that many stars. I had the best of both worlds, complete privacy but with responsive hosts available if I needed anything.

Delightful Desert Retreat

Alan and Larissa thought of everything we needed for our stay. We loved the property and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. All you will hear are the coyotes and birds. We loved the decor. The weather was great. If you are a dog lover you must meet their dog Mario. His horse Mare is friendly as is Gilbert the goat. Ironwood Ranch is truly a special place.

The only thing we regret is not booking another night.

Man oh man. This rental was one of the coziest we have ever experienced. The interior was extremely clean and decorated with every detail in mind. It was stocked with everything we needed, including orange juice, milk, eggs, fruit, English muffins and more. As a bonus, there was a sweet horse named Mare who loves attention. The property sits on 15 acres of explorable land, including an arena where we were able to watch ropers practicing. The property is secluded and private, yet close enough to area activities. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We wanted something different and we got it! It was perfect. This place is situated on a ranch in North Scottsdale. You are 10 minutes from the Verde river, 25 minutes from high-end restaurants and shopping in Scottsdale, short drive to Cave Creek and you have plenty of privacy. The interior seems like it is brand new. Plenty of room. Great internet and TV. Very technologically advanced setup for a ranch north of town. Was able to work while there. Very nice people. Sean was there and was very helpful. You can tell they take a lot of pride in the place. We will keep this place on our favorites and the next time we are in AZ, we will definitely be staying there. Thanks Burgess family!

Nice Space, Gorgeous views

Very spacious, clean, and just what we needed when travelling for my daughter's wedding. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy, bath towels and tissue provided. The views of the Mountains were beautiful. Alan, Larissa, Sean..Thanks so much for your Hospitality. Coming "home" to the Bunk House each day was very relaxing!
