Este es un apartamento tranquilo, cómodo y espacioso con 125m2, en un edificio moderno (paredes de mármol) llamado Marina Club en la Avenida Arriaga 73, arriba de Marina Shopping y exactamente en el mismo edificio que la tienda CR7 de Cristiano Ronaldo, a 300 metros del Museo CR7 y a 100 metros del emblemático Ritz Café, cerca de todo, justo en el centro de Funchal

El apartamento tiene una vista espectacular sobre el puerto deportivo de Funchal. Cuenta con 5 grandes ventanas que dan acceso al balcón que rodea todo el apartamento y fue diseñado para disfrutar todo el día, la luz del sol, desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer.

El edificio está muy bien insonorizado, por lo que el apartamento es muy tranquilo, incluso en el corazón de Funchal. El estado dentro del apartamento no escuchará ruidos del exterior y tendrá la sensación de que está fuera del centro de la ciudad. El apartamento es muy relajante ... el apartamento tiene muy buena insonorización.

Desde todas las divisiones puede llegar al gran balcón redondo (sol todo el día) donde puede relajarse y aprovechar al máximo el buen clima de Madeira mientras disfruta de sus comidas.

Desde el balcón tendrá un paisaje sublime y también estará en un lugar privilegiado para ver los fuegos artificiales de junio, año nuevo y nuestros desfiles tradicionales como el Festival de las Flores y el Carnaval.

En el dormitorio se pueden colocar camas una al lado de la otra si es necesario, formando una cama doble.

En el comedor hay un espacio reservado para 2 camas más, un sofá cama que se convertirá en dos camas individuales, ideal para niños y jóvenes.

Este apartamento está situado en el corazón del centro de Funchal. puedes caminar fácilmente a cualquier lugar en Funchal. Usted tiene supermercados, panaderías, cafeterías y restaurantes más famosos en su puerta empinada. Disfruta de un agradable paseo por el puerto deportivo por la noche y regresa a casa en minutos.

A poca distancia de la histórica Catedral de Ze (450 m), Ritz Café (100 m), Marina (200 m), Jardines (100 m), Cafeterías (50 m), Compras (20 m), Casco antiguo, Mercado abierto (Mercado dos Lavradores), Playa Barreirinha Complejo, Logias del Vino, Museos, Iglesias, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Teleférico, CR7 (Museo Cristiano Ronaldo). Al lado del apartamento hay una parada de autobús, panadería, supermercado pequeño, lavandería, restaurante.

Hay una gran diversidad de ofertas en el área: taxi, transporte público, turismo, cultura, deportes extremos y náuticos, gimnasio. Está cerca del casco antiguo.

Si desea ir a nadar cerca, encontrará el complejo de playa Barreirinha (a poca distancia a pie), situado en el casco antiguo, cerca del Bar BBC (Barreirinha Bar Café) y el restaurante Riso (Risottoria Del Mundo), un excelente lugar para relajarse y nadar, solo 2 euros

Wonderful location

We spent just over a month in Miguel’s apartment over looking the Marina in Funchal. With all the windows and wonderful light in the apartment we never tired of just sitting and enjoying the ever changing view. Miguel was most helpful in every way and definitely helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks again Miguel…we’ll see you next year.

It has everything except a pool and pool cafe/restaurant facilities. This was not something we were looking for and didn't detract from how ideal the property is in all the other areas.

Perfect Location

The location is ideal for easy access to bars, restaurants, shops & a supermarket. The views from the balcony are the best in town for the fireworks & the flower festival parade. Not as though we needed it, but the building security is top class. Miguel was, as usual, always on hand to sort out any minor problems and offer handy tips for visitors. This was our third visit to the apartment and we will be back next year.

Prior to our arrival Miguel was extremely helpful though we didn't have to contact him during our stay. Wonderful views from the balcony, with sunshine all day. Location is excellent ( the best we've had on our fifth visit to Madeira). Restaurants, local shops and shopping centre are all close by. Good location for using Aerobus from / to Airport. All in all excellent.

Perfect Location

This apartment is in a perfect location for easy access to Funchal town centre with great views over the harbour. It was great to sit on the spacious balcony and watch cruise ships come and go. It's well appointed,very clean, with comfy beds and sofas and all appliances in good working order. Miguel was the perfect host and kept us informed with recommendations for restaurants etc and organised taxis for us to and from the airport. We have no hesitation in giving it five stars and recommending to anyone not wanting a steep uphill walk to their accommodation! We look forward to returning.

Perfect stay

I booked this apartment as a surprise for my wife’s birthday (we had never been to Funchal before). Miguel was a fantastic help during the booking process and he provided lots of valuable advice before our arrival regarding local transport and restaurant recommendations. The apartment was excellent....very spacious, spotlessly clean and the view was just breathtaking. We spent many hours watching the cruise ships come and go and enjoying the sunshine on the balcony. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Funchal and this lovely apartment, many thanks again to Miguel for his help and hospitality.

When we arrived Miguel had arranged for us to be met by taxi. The taxi then took us straight to the apartment where Miguel met us. The apartment was very safe and secure. It has everything that you would need for a very comfortable stay. The apartment has superb views over the marina. It is located in a very central location with restaurants, attractions and public transport options all within easy walking distance. Miguel shared lots of useful information with us about local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Funchal.

Excellent!

This apartment is in a perfect location with bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc all close by. We were met by Miguel who was extremely welcoming and gave us all the information we needed about the apartment, local area and suggested places to eat, drink and visit. The apartment is spotless and has everything you need with little extras too. Comfortable beds, spacious and smart this apartment has a wonderful view over the marina from the huge balcony which has sunbeds and table and chairs. We can not fault this place and will be returning next year! Thank you Miguel!

Poor housekeeping

It is a lovely apartment in a great location. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness. We stayed for 4 weeks and the apartment was never cleaned. We had to wait almost 2 weeks for a change of towels and extra bedding. If it is the owners policy not to clean the apartment on a weekly basis then this should be made clear in the listing

Our stay in Funchal

We stayed at this property for 11 days in late November. The location is terrific and close to everything in downtown Funchal. The apartment is very spacious for a 1 bedroom, the beds and furniture were very comfortable, the view of the harbour is great and the large wrap around balcony to the south and west is terrific for enjoying the views and the sun. The living room floor and couch, and the bathroom are dated and somewhat worn, but nothing serious. The property manager, Miguel, was wonderful and extremely helpful with arranging transportation to and from the airport, instructions to access the property, and answering any questions we had while there. Miguel also said that some improvements to the property were being arranged soon after we were there.

Great Apartment, Great View.

Everything about the apartment was as described. The view of the harbour is wonderful and there were two magnificent firework displays during our stay. The balcony enjoys sunshine all day and most of the evening. First impressions of the building, reception area etc are very good. Miguel was very friendly and helpful. He arranged cars to and from the airport. We asked if the internet speed could be improved and it was upgraded the next day. Wow. We asked for for additional cookware and this was delivered 2 days later. In addition to the harbour view, the apartment is right in the town centre with restaurants, supermarkets etc just moments away. Negatives. If you plan to cook proper meals, the kitchen is not enormous. There is road noise when on the balcony but it was not a problem to us. If you want to be in the centre of the capital and right beside the harbour, there's going to be noise. The only other downside is that we tried to book again next year but the dates we wanted are already gone. Book early!

Lovely apartment in fantastic location

The apartment is clean, well equipped, comfortable and safe. Wrap around balcony. Terrific location overlooking the promenade, harbour and marina with main street running parallel with restaurants, shops and lovely park. Easy 15 minute stroll to old town with loads of restaurants, bars, shops and great atmosphere. Plenty of other restaurants in side streets up from the main road.....but no disturbance from any of these. Local buses and tour buses from promenade. Also cable car up to Monte, the Monte Palace gardens (beautiful), the Botanical Gardens and the toboggan (basket) rides down the streets (you have to do it at least once) If you’re up for a jeep tour there are commercial ones available but ask the owner Miguel about his. Full/half day in a vintage army jeep. No frills but big buzz and he knows all the short cuts, alternative viewing points, lunch and drinks stops where the tour buses etc don’t go. This was our first visit to Madiera and consider ourselves lucky that the owner Miguel was our first contact there. He’s a really cool guy. Personable, funny, genuine. His love for Madiera is very obvious and he is a mine of information. Clearly cares about his clients and wants you to love Madiera the way he does. We will definitely be going back....just sorry we left our first visit until our sixties.

A great apartment

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Funchal staying in this apartment. Miguel is a great host, he arranged a taxi transfer to meet us at the arrivals gate in the airport, and then he personally met us at the doors to the apartment building. He showed us right through the apartment, explaining how everything worked and how to operate all the appliances and the hot water system. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all you could need for a self-catering holiday was there. The bedroom and main living areas both have air conditioning and ceiling fans if you don't want to use the A/C. Miguel informed us where everything is in and around the building. The Apartment is on the 4th floor of the Marina Shopping Mall, with a bakery, an Italian Restaurant and a car rental company immediately underneath. Miguel took us down to the basement and showed us where the dedicated parking spot for the apartment is, and how to operate the entrance/exit gates. Altogether, he spent over an hour explaining everything to us. The apartment could not be better situated. From the large wrap-around balcony you have a perfect view looking down to the main harbour boulevard, overlooking the harbour, the marina, the cruise liner terminal, all the way down to the CR7 Cristiano Ronaldo Museum and Hotel. It is directly opposite a rank of bus stops, for the local buses and also the two main open-top sightseeing buses - the red and yellow lines. There are two lifts in the building. The main entrance on the ground floor opens onto the famous Avenida Arriaga, where almost any important events in Funchal take place. There are many shops and restaurants along this street, one side near the apartment is a long taxi rank. Just opposite the apartment there is another bakery with delicious breads and pastries, and about 150 mtrs up a little side road is the large 'La Vie' Shopping Mall, with the Pingo Doce supermarket in the basement. Although the apartment spans two busy streets, the sound proofing in the apartment is excellent. With all 4 patio doors securely closed we could not hear a thing from outside. All in all, we could not think of a better place to stay in Madeira, and we hope to be back there soon. Alan

Sehr tolle Lage im Zentrum von Funchal. Sehr schöne Aussicht von großer Terrasse auf den Hafen. Fußläufig alles erreichbar. Supermarkt, Bäcker gleich in der Nähe. Tiefgaragenplatz mit Aufzug. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Wohnung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Wonderful Stay in Madeira

This was our 3rd time to visit Madeira and our 2nd time to stay in this apartment. It is a great apartment located in a very central location in Funchal, close to lots of great restaurants. The apartment offers fantastic views over the marina. It was clean, very comfortable, a home away from home. The property manager Miguel could not have been more helpful and even organised the taxi to bring us to and from the airport. We definitely hope to stay here again the next time we visit Madeira.

Wir, 56 Jahre, waren im Oktober zwei Wochen als Gäste in der Wohnung. Sie ist für zwei Personen sehr groß und ist komplett ausgestattet. Einmalig ist die Lage mitten in der Stadt und die Sicht aus der 4. Etage auf das Meer und den Hafen mit seinen Kreuzfahrschiffen. Der Balkon über Eck bietet Sonne für den ganzen Tag. Ein KFZ-Stellplatz in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage rundet die Sache ab. Der Empfang und die Informationen durch Miguel waren sehr herzlich und ausführlich.

Zentral und abwechselungsreich

Wir waren 10 Tage auf der Insel. Und haben das Appartement eher zufällig im Internet entdeckt und die Buchung zu keinem Zeitpunkt bereut. Es ist ein geräumiges, schönes, helles Appartement mit einem großen Balkon und tollem Blick auf den Hafen und auf Funchal. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, und Geschäfte sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen, der nächste Bäcker ist gegenüber, auf der anderen Straßenseite. Unzählige Restaurants, Geschäfte und Cafes sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Also ideal, wenn man in den ersten Tagen noch keinen Leihwagen hat. Dieser kann in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage eingestellt werden. Das Appartement liegt zwar an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße aber die Fenster sind sehr schallisolierend und der Lärm wird wirkungsvoll ausgesperrt. Der absolute Knaller war Miguel. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Augenblick gut aufgehoben und willkommen. Schon vor der Reise wurden wir von ihm mit Informationen über Restaurants und ähnliches versorgt. Bei Fragen und Problemen stand er quasi rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung. Dringend zu empfehlen sind die Touren, die Miguel anbietet. Mit seinem Jeep fährt er Euch zu Plätzen, die Euch sonst verborgen bleiben würden, lasst euch überraschen, es lohnt sich. Bei der Auswahl der Touren, kann man blind auf ihn vertrauen, jede Tour ist ein absolutes Erlebnis, das seinen krönenden Abschluß mit der besten Poncha der Insel findet. Es gibt viele Gründe wieder auf die Insel zu kommen, Miguel ist definitiv einer davon....

Van toerist tot snel een bewoner van, dat is wat dit appartement je geeft. Letterlijk alles is om de hoek: boodschappen, restaurants, bussen, dag-& boottochten, festivals. Genoten van het uitzicht, de zonsopgang, de ‘muur’ van lichtjes. Wij hebben zeker een beeld nu van Funchal & Madeira!

Fantastic location & awesome jeep trips

The property is very well located. The old part of Funchal is on your doorstep, lots of good places to eat close by (we typically went to places the locals eat recommended by Miguel) and an amazing view. The apartment was perfect for the two of us, comfortable, well maintained and had everything we needed. Miguel manages the property and gave us a warm welcome, advised us where to shop and eat, and ran through everything we needed to know about the apartment. He is a genuinely warm and welcoming person. The best part was finding out the owner is South African, and the meeting the next door neighbours, yep you guessed it also South African! Miguel also runs a one man jeep tour business and I would highly recommend it. He takes you properly off road, gives a really good overview of the island and it's an all out fantastic trip. We did two full day tours in his ex Portugese army jeep - Northwest and Northeast, which included lavada walks - not touristy ones, but ones with amazing views and hardly anyone else around. Lunch was at places locals eat, and we tried the Poncha on the way back at local Poncha bars - pretty potent stuff! All in all we had a fabulous trip, fell in love with Madeira, and can't wait to go back again. I'll definitely be looking to book this place again if available, and will be taking another jeep tour for sure! Next time we'll have to have a Poncha with Miguel!

Top location in Funchal

This really is a great apartment. The balcony with its marvellous view of the harbour immediately stands out but it was only after being there a few days we appreciated just how perfectly located it is. The interior is specious and smart with comfortable beds and all the appliances you need. Miguel is a top notch host. Very helpful he's got all bases covered whether it be restaurant or bar recommendations or organising taxis. We're only sorry we did not take jeep ride with him it would have been a great way to see those parts of the island we missed. Still there is always next time.

It is an amazing apartment in an unique location by the marina! It has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay taking profit of the mild climate of the island and its amazing view (the best views of the complex).
Have 4 big windows leading out to the round balcony, it was designed to take full advantage of the sunlight and the seaview, facing the Funchal

Very spacious apartment (125 m2!) with a private balcony over the marina (it is really nearby the sea!). A very comfortable and modern apartment in a quiet & modern building and unique location!
