⸻We had our annual friends weekend over the holiday weekend and had a great stay! Ben was very accommodating and kindly allowed us to bring our four dogs. The house was perfect for our group—comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. We ran into a few minor hiccups, but Ben was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. If you’re thinking about booking, you definitely should! We’re already looking forward to booking again next year.

Fantastic property with loads of extras, kayaks, SUP boards, pool table! Kitchen had everything needed for a wonderful stay and the extra refrigerator downstairs was a big bonus! House layout was very accommodating for multiple age groups.

Dreams do come true

Everyone was impressed with the property. It had lots of room inside and out. In a short time you really feel at home. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The house had closets with extra bedding, lots of towels, chairs, tables, lifejackets, etc. etc. all you need to do is look you really feel like it’s your own place as soon as you figure out where everything is, we had a grand time. The boat launch is very close. The water is calm the kids had a great time fishing, swimming and enjoying the lake. No one had a better time in the water than our dog. The lawn is big enough to have a game of catch with some serious baseball players. We saw a turtle on the roadway. It’s very quiet and incredibly lovely.The adults had a great time as well

Graduation Weekend

We had a group of 11 stay for Colby's graduation. It was a perfect place for our family. The house is on a quiet bay of a Woodbury Pond, plenty of space and so many outdoor living areas! Hope your family can enjoy this house as much as we did!

Perfect Lake house - Like On Golden Pond Setting

We were greeted warmly by Ben the owner and he even helped us bring in supplies from our car to the house. He graciously showed us around and was available to answer any and all questions. He and his team were accessible and very responsive. The house was very clean and orderly upon arrival. There were plenty of water toys for all and the pontoon was great. The sandy beach area was perfect for our little children and the abundance of lounge chairs and seating outside was absolutely amazing. The lawn was lush and green and great to play games. The swing set was a big hit. The propane fire pit was a little underwhelming. We bought live lobsters at Hallowell Seafood and Produce - highly recommend. Gardiner Hannaford a quick 9 miles to get anything you want. We had 17 people aged 77 down to 22 months. Because of the combination of ages and genders the beds available weren't enough. We found a blow up bed which was used and our son brought a blow up bed as well. That more or less got us to the sleeping capacity, tho not entirely comfortable as the rooms with double beds and added blow up beds became one solid room with beds! The kitchen is large and very accommodating for our large group. Also the living room and family room provided space for everyone to be together. We never had issues with Wifi. Woodbury Pond was just perfect! Quiet, serene and very clean water! This is the place to stay if you like a more quiet vacation, away from it all. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Vacation Getaway - Multi-Generational Family with Pets

We had a wonderful multi-general family vacation with our pets, at Ben’s beautiful lakefront home. The house accommodated us easily with a great kitchen area for meal prep, incredible water views, and lots of water and lawn toys for use by kids to adults, which we used daily. The area is majestic with the soothing calls from the loons, soaring eagles, and great fishing. Our group ranged in age from 9-94 and everyone enjoyed the property! Conveniently located near a grocery store and a great pizza place too. We had a few day trips that were all within an hour from the property. The owner, Ben, stopped by almost daily, to ensure we were enjoying the property and to answer any questions. He is very friendly and so accommodating. We highly recommend Ben and his home. Enjoy!

Hidden gem

Beautiful property. We had 8 adults and 4 kids ages 4,5,6,and 7. Lots of room for all. Three levels. Big kitchen, well stocked. Lots of fun out in the water. Owner so kind and easy to work with. Comfy inside and out. You won’t want to leave the property

Beautiful Home and property.

This was our second year spending a week with our family. There is plenty of space both inside and out. The outside seating areas have beautiful flowers. We enjoyed the sounds of the loons in the morning and evening while eating meals on the deck.

Beautiful, Relaxing Setting

Once we got past the communication snafu around our check-in, which ended up working out okay but might not have, and which the owner pledged to resolve going forward, everything else about our stay was terrific. The home is on a beautiful piece of property with a wonderful, relaxing, lakeside setting, complete with kayaks and paddleboards. The home itself is simply furnished with everything needed, and the kitchen is well-stocked with anything a guest might need. The outdoor spaces are a big selling point. Ben, the owner, was very accessible and provided us with some good restaurant suggestions. We had a very enjoyable week!

Great week

This property is wonderful, the pictures do not do it justice as there are multiple places inside and out to spread out. Great beach area, shady and sunny, beautiful landscaping, with plenty of seating. The house has everything you need; comfy beds, quality linens, towels, cook, glass and flatware - just bring the food - 2 refrigerators was a plus with a big group. We enjoyed games, inside and out, kayaking -there are 2, paddle boarding, nearby golf and just reading on the beach. Ben is a great host and keeps a beautiful home.

Great Lake House for family gatherings

We all had a great time playing in the yard and kayaking and fishing on the lake. Caught a few large bass. Lots of room to spread out inside and out. Nice large kitchen with lots of seating. Enjoyed the seeing and hearing the loons on the lake. Would consider staying here again.

First time to Maine

This was our firat vrbo experience and our first time to Maine. We have 5 children and we invited my parents to stay as well. The house was perfect! The property was gorgeous! It was a much needed relaxing getaway in this crazy year. We will certainly be coming back!

Awesome property

We stayed the end of July in 2020. Property was awesome! Plenty of room for my extended family of 16. Kitchen was nice and big. We didn’t needed to bring nothing except food. We rented a boat and the house had a tube for us to use. The property manager was available and easy to communicate with. Some of the beds weren’t that comfortable and the sliders were hard to close but other then that it was fantastic!

Woodbury Pond rental

This rental on Woodbury Pond was spectacular. Beautiful interior with well thought out space. location on Woodbury Pond ideal. Very comfortable all around and would definitely rent again.

Playland

A spacious, lovely lake house. The private beach and a great dock for mooring our pontoon boat were a big hit. Plenty of room for the seven of us to cook together. Great family fun.
