The location of the property was very convenient and close to the casino, which was a big plus. The owner gave good and clear instructions on how to get checked in upon arrival. The house was on the older side, which was fine and also noted on the listing that the house was built in the 1920’s. While walking through the house for the first time I noticed that some of the pictures of certain rooms of the house wasn’t to accurate compared to the actual look(for example: the bathroom looked pretty good, but the tub/shower was very rough looking)unlike the pictures that are on the listing. I could also tell that the furniture that was in the living room wasn’t as nice as the pictures either, but that was just a minor problem. The listing talked about how the lights in the house was wired a little differently throughout the house, but it was very easy to get used to the remote control that controlled all the lights. While I was trying to fall asleep in the Master Bedroom I had dropped the remote and it went under the bed. When I turned on my light to get the remote, I had noticed a needle underneath the bed, which was a little concerning.Another mild inconvenience was spiders, which is likely to show up in a house built that long ago, but I hate spiders, so I felt on edge a lot of times lol. Other than the few inconsistencies of pictures in the listing and mild inconveniences, it was a good overall stay. The owner was very nice and was on the other end whenever I needed him.
