Fantástica unidad abierta grande de una habitación y un baño en Sandy Shores. Cocina actualizada con encimeras de granito y gabinetes de arce, completamente equipada con todo lo que necesita.
Sandy Shores # 304 ofrece una gran sala de estar con amplios asientos y se abre al balcón frente a la playa que da a la playa y al Golfo de México. El dormitorio tiene dos camas queen, televisión y vestidor. Ropa de cama, toallas y almohadas adicionales se proporcionan para la comodidad de nuestros huéspedes. Not only was the space itself great, the location can NOT be beaten. John's Pass is directly across the street, and while it might seem like that would mean heavy traffic, that was never a challenge during our mid-July visit. The jetty results in an established border that helps to make the beach less crowded right in front of this property. It was also fun to watch the drawbridge opening to let boats pass in and out.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to everything and view. Condo was very clean and well maintained. Couch and shower needs a major upgrade. Not much comfy seating in living room. Property is pretty good. They do not patrol smoking so cigarette smoke and Marijuana smell quite often throughout the day and night. Elevator was broken most of the week and Property could be kept cleaner. Pool area was cleaned and nice every morning though. Having your own parking spot is nice. We have stayed at Sandy Shores for 4 years and will return mostly because of location and not a crowded beach.

Beautiful view from balcony!

I only gave an over all rating of three stars mainly because the building is extremely old , and the elevators were very slow forcing us to use the stairs frequently, you can’t beat the view though!

Great Madeira Beach January 2023 vacation

My husband and I were very happy with our stay at Sandy Shores. Our condo had a perfect view of the beach, ocean, and beautiful sunsets. The building, grounds, and condo unit were very well maintained. Great location, very walkable area...right on the beach, close to shops, restaurants, grocery store and other activities. We will be coming back next year.

The building is very rundown & noisy. Can hear the elevator traveling and the ding when it arrives etc.Walls and doors are beat up. Exception is the pool and pool area are well kept. The condo was in fair shape. Doors and walls beat up. The furniture was cheap and some of it was beat up too. Couch was broken down. You couldn't sit on it you sat in it. Mattress was fair. You could feel the side rails of the matteress and made noise when you turned over. Bedroom ceiling damaged, cracked and sagging from probable water damage.Old venetian blinds on bedroom window bent up. I did not try to open them because I was afraid it would break completely. Exterior door had gap at bottom that let in noise, air and anything else. I did not cook so I can't speak to the appliances or cookware. Good view and location. Was not worth the price we paid. Very disappointed.

March 2018 Stay

Have stayed at this general property 5 times and been good, but the property is now fairly run down. This condo is ok, jas at least been upgraded with newer bath, updated kitchen, newer tile floors. Carpet in bedroom and main living area is dated and should be replaced. Sliding door to balcony is original and doesn't work well. In general, you can tell that toe unit owner only does the very bare minimum to keep it rented. Beware, the building only has one (1) very slow and small elevator. be prepared to wait. During this trip, there was significant construction going on from 8-4:30 every day. Major inconvenience and noise all day at the pool. Not a good experience.

We booked this condo because the title stated it was "updated," but the reality was completely different and unsafe. Upon opening the door, the room smelled heavily musty. We quickly discovered potential mold in the living room, exposed capped electrical wiring on the bedroom ceiling fan, poor repair patchwork throughout, and a missing door weather shield. To make matters worse, it wasn't properly cleaned and had hair left in the shower drain.While the management company (Sunhost) did eventually move us to a different room, they refused to refund the cleaning fee for this unacceptable first unit. The "updated" description is highly misleading. Avoid this specific unit.

The people I had contact with were great, but the business' phone app wasn't working so that was a little bit of a downer to do things on my phone. Regardless, we plan to go back!

The complex is in a perfect location near Johns Pass with restaurants, bars and shopping. We visited mid-June and the beach was not very crowded. We had plenty of room for our chairs and kids to play. The pool was never crowded and there was always lounge chairs available throughout the day and evening. Our Unit was clean and well organized and stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, etc. Beds were somewhat comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, blankets, etc. The ice maker in the freezer was a major plus as we would empty ice into ice buckets in the freezer so we never had to buy ice for our small beach cooler. The balcony had plenty of seating and a lounge chair. Living room has a nice huge TV and smaller one in the bedroom with plenty of options for channels. It is very spacious and was perfect for our needs for the week.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here for 7 years and the owner of the unit has done nothing to improve it. Vent on the ceiling in the bathroom had a water leak from the year before from the unit above and when we got there this year it still had not been repaired properly. However each year the cost has gone up 20%. Carpet was all stained and beds were horrible to sleep in. Also there is a lack of security outside by the pool. People jumping the fence to get in and the giving of the codes to the entrances to outsiders. I realize there is a huge turnover but owners need to take responsibility for the cleanliness of their unit and there needs to be security at peak times like Spring Break which is when we were there in the Month of March. We will not be returning. 😞
