Perfect for a getaway - Sun & Sand Cabins

I’m truly sorry that our cabin did not meet your expectations, but I would like to clarify a few things for future guests. Our VRBO photos are current and show the cabin exactly as it is, including the twin bed in the living area, kitchen/living space, and TV with DIRECTV. Our listing also clearly states that bath towels, kitchen towels, and washcloths are not provided, and this information is included in our pre-arrival email. Regarding check-in, I had texted you that the cabin would not be ready before the scheduled check-in time. You arrived approximately 10 minutes early while our housekeeper was still finishing. Since she was still nearby cleaning our other cabins, she left the key in the door for your convenience. We intentionally keep our cabins simple, clean, and affordable and work hard to keep our rates among the lowest-priced accommodations in Grand Isle. I’m sorry you were disappointed, but we make every effort through our photos, listing details, and pre-arrival information to let guests know exactly what to expect. We received wonderful compliments from other guests staying with us that same weekend, but we certainly understand that every guest has different expectations.
