Welcome to your private retreat, a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite located on the historic site of Brenham's first German Lutheran Church. You can still see original elements from the church, like the front steps, grounding your stay in local history.

Inside, you'll find a delightful mix of rustic decor, warm wooden floors, and unique cow-themed artwork that adds a touch of Texas character. The suite is designed for comfort and convenience, offering a private entrance and room-darkening shades for a restful night's sleep.

Your private suite includes:
Two comfortable bedrooms: one with a king bed and one with a queen bed.
A spacious living area with relaxing recliners and a full-size futon for additional guests.
Two full bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/tub combination.

Me and my friend stayed at the Two Step last night for a friend’s wedding in Chappell Hill. From the minute you walk in the door, it smells like home! The antique decor and the cute Christmas trees in all the rooms made it feel so warm and cozy. The bedding is out of this world, you don’t ever wanna get up! The host Michele was the BEST! After the wedding, we sat outside in the lovely backyard listening to the water fountains that were so serene.Michele came out of her part of the Brenham House and lit the tiki torches for us. 10/10 for a short or long stay! Happy Holidays!

This charming home stands on the historic site of Brenham’s first German Lutheran Church, with original elements like the front steps & concrete foundation still preserved from the church that once stood there. Though the church was lost around 1900, the Brenham House rose in its place circa 1920. The Brenham House, a piece of Texas heritage—come be part of the story.
