San Luis Pass is renowned for fantastic fishing, boating, shelling and gorgeous beaches. Treasure Island is a quiet, family neighborhood that is close to all Galveston and Surfside has to offer but is not in the middle of the tourist crowds. Casey Shoals features a wraparound deck with great views of the bay and Gulf. The house just finished a remodel with new windows, beds, furnishings, kitchen supplies, etc. 3 Lot Property partial fenced yard with space to play and park your boat or RV with 30AMP shore power. It is a short walk to a beautiful, long Texas beach! Bring your bikes and the Golf Cart! The neighborhood is perfect to let the kids roam and bike as you watch from the deck. All 4 corners of the deck give you a good view of the neighborhood and water fronts.

Casey Shoals features a super fun atmosphere with a relaxing beach motif and designer touches! 2 bedroom, 2 bath with king bed, queen bed and 2 twins(sleeps 6) - Large, open living area with dining table that is great for meals, and games. Fully furnished, TV and bluray players, WIFI, gas grill, games, puzzles, videos, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and equipped kitchen. Large lots give open space for volleyball or baseball and extra parking. Large covered area and lower deck area that is great for entertaining, cooking out and watching sunsets.

We fell in love with the area and this house because of the water views, calm neighborhood, fishing, surfing, and ball games in the big yard - We hope you enjoy it too.

John and Patti are great to deal with

  • 5 of 5

This is not a review of the house, but the owners. We had rented the house for the weekend after Harvey struck, so of course we never made it there. John and Patti were very communicative and responsive, and offered a full refund to us for that weekend. We are certainly looking forward to finally getting to know the house in the near future!

Lovely vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

We had a great weekend at the beach house. Very cozy, nice comfortable beds. It was great to not need anything. There was a hallway closet full of boardgames, toys, books for the kids and under the deck by the outside shower was plenty of beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys. The beach was less than 10 minute walk, or if you want to drive there are several parking spaces at the end of the road. The community was quiet and neighbors friendly. We had a nice time and recommend the rental. We recommend stopping off at the grocery store before you get there as we did, because the closest large grocery store is a bit of a drive.

great time

  • 4 of 5

thanks for letting us rent your property. had a great time. house was nice and clean and the price very reasonable. my only reason for not giving five stars is the mattresses on the beds could have been firmer. this area is very country, and very peaceful and quiet, our second stay in treasure island, and the country feel is very nice for country folks like us. still just a 20 mile or so drive to galveston for any attractions but far enough away to miss the big crowds. great beach right there at treasure island, and private. but as texas kindly lets your drive on many of the beaches in many areas you can always try other spots too.

Perfect Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The Casey Shoals Home was perfect for our family. Our son and grandchildren (ages 4-1/2 and 6-1/2) loved the bunk beds. We spent mornings walking the beach and they loved the water. The beach is kept very clean. Parking next to the beach access was first come first serve. It was an easy walk and we used our wagon to transport. One day we parked and had no problem. We took the grandchildren to the state park crab fishing and they loved that. The beach home is so accommodating. All your basic kitchens needs are provided. It was great to have such a nice laundry room! There is a great fenced in area for the kids to play. Be sure, as recommended, to keep the mosquito repellant handy. There is wagon and beach chairs you can use. The shower under the deck is awesome and we used the hose to wash off all our equipment before heading home. The beach house has a great closet full of toys, puzzles, movies, coloring books, board games. We loved the cable selection and found a great channel for the age appropriate movies. Loved the option of the Master Bedroom with set of bunkbeds. The second bedroom had queen size bed and four bunkbeds. The whole home is decorated beautifully. We cooked out a few times and the grill was great. My husband and son fished off the San Luis Pass. We bought a few fireworks and took them to the sandy beach area by San Luis Pass bridge for the Fourth. There was plenty of firework shows close by to get our feel for the Fireworks. We took in the Galveston highlights and visited Moody Gardens a couple of days. Highly recommend that. The aquarium and rainforest pyramids are awesome. We toured the historic Strand downtown. The Railroad Museum is quite interesting and the grandkids loved being able to climb on the trains. Be sure to visit Lil Kings Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor downtown. We visited the Elissa Ship and Seaport Museum; ate at Fisherman's Wharf (*****), Fish Tales off Seaboard (also very good). We rode the Ferry to Bolivar. The grandkids were excited to see so many dolphins and they fed the seagulls (be sure to bring some bread). We had dinner one night on the upper deck of the cottage.. nice breeze. I hope to make this an annual vacation spot.
