About Harm and Marian Kraai

We grew up in The Netherlands, and currently make our home during the summer months in Oregon, while residing in Albuquerque during the winter. If not spending time with family we travel, mostly by RV, because we are lucky enough to be semi-retired professionals. When abroad we choose to stay in VRBOs.

Harm and Marian Kraai purchased this house in 2012

Why Harm and Marian Kraai chose Albuquerque

THis house with a 'Dutch Touch' has been perfect for us. And it has enough space to entertain some friends and family as well. We love the location, especially because everything is within walking distance. Having our morning coffee in the sunroom, watching walkers, joggers, and runners come by is a recurring daily delight.

What makes this house unique

If you have never been to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, this may be the time to do it!

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is 8-10 blocks away at

2401 12th Street NW just north of the I-40 expressway.

Perfect home for visit to Albuquerque

  • 5 of 5

Tulipan was a wonderfully comfortable home. Close to the airport, walking distance to Old Town Albuquerque. Great restaurants very close to the house. Sandia Peak was a wonderful take. So much to see and do in the Albuquerque area and the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was outstanding!! Thanks to Mariam for the spot on directions to all our inquiries. If we are ever fortunate enough to get back to Albuqueue we hope we will be able to stay at Tulipan again.

Extended Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the house for 8 weeks. Our house was being remodeled and the company continued to push the complete date out. The owners were very accommodating. The neighborhood was excellent. Beautiful evening walks and felt safe late at night. We walked to a number of restaurants on Central - all good, and included a variety of offerings. I highly recommend this VBRO.

comfortable home

  • 5 of 5

This lovely home had everything, convenient location near Old Town, very clean and comfortable, all necessities are provided. The owners were helpful and accommodating, we stayed over the Christmas holiday and we couldn't have been more delighted with the snow and luminaries around Old Town. We would definitely stay here again. Stephany M.

Pleasant Stay

  • 5 of 5

This home had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Conveniently located to excellent food, grocery, gas, etc... and they have a reliable and fast wi-fi. Charming, walkable neighborhood with a park next door to walk our small dogs. The owners are really nice and live nearby which was nice to know in case we needed anything. Would absolutely stay here again.

Convenient to Old Town

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for the CAC conference to see Richard Rohr of Albuquerque fame. It was our first time to actually stay in ABQ - we usually just pass though. Very relaxing accommodation that met our requirements for Craftsman flair. Quiet neighborhood with lots of class. Everything we needed was at the house. Property Owner was very helpful and communicative, and her son lives right around the corner as well and he stopped by to see if we needed anything. Would stay again.
