Why Jim Bertlesman chose Sonoma
We joyfully lived in Casa de Luna for a year, while our new home was being built. This unique and coveted location is only a 15 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride and .5 mile drive to downtown Sonoma Square. It is quiet, peaceful and has everything you need to live for a month or a lifetime. Behind the cottage, there are mountain and meadow views, surrounded by flower gardens, olive and fruit trees, starry skies and full moons. A serene country setting, for both friends and family, is the ideal getaway.

Lovely hideaway with a beautiful backyard and patio
The perfect place to stay for a little getaway, with French doors opening onto an expansive patio and gardens from both the bedroom and the dining room, elegant and comfortable furnishings, and a marvelous king bed with luxuriously soft linens. Great location with easy access to all. I highly recommend this gem!

Quiet, convenient, and well appointed
Jim met us as we drove in the driveway to let us know a few key bits of info about the property. He was very pleasant and welcoming even though we ended up arriving before our check-in. While our hosts were on the property much/most of the time, we had nothing but privacy. The unique set-up of the rooms ended up being pretty handy and we had everything we needed for our stay. We would gladly return next time we are in Sonoma.
The place was clean and spacious (2 adult), kitchen has a complete setup. The patio is the best: table with chairs for sitting, lounge chairs with table and the hammock. No mosquitoes and the weather was perfect. Jim, the owner was extremely helpful and kind.
We hope to see you again.
Pretty and peaceful
We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The bed was very comfortable and the location is lovely, close enough to everything yet very quiet. Jim was very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jim!
Fantastic wine country living
Really enjoyed our stay and particularly enjoyed the back yard!
Lovely property in a quiet location.
Charming property, clean, well furnished, and affordable for work be country. The set up is a little quirky, with one half divided from the other by a covered patio, but once we got used to it, we found it to not be an issue st all. Owners, Jim and Diane were lovely people, friendly, attentive to all needs, and especially helpful when a medical emergency arose with a family member. Grandkids enjoyed visiting and feeding the goats on the neighboring property, and visiting the on site chicken coop, and enjoying the hammock out back. A special treat was seeing one of the hens laying an egg. We especially enjoyed quiet sunny afternoons on the back patio between trips to work be country hot spots. We stayed for a full month, mid Jan to Mid Feb and enjoyed winter rates which fit our budget nicely. Highly recommend.
Pat and Jerry were delightful guest. The perfect couple to have for a month.
