About this property

The Carpenter’s Split ATV Access, 5.3 Acres, Near Shops & Eats

Half cabin. Half home. All heart. Built by a master carpenter for his wife, this unique 5.3-acre retreat on Horseshoe Lake offers 360° forest & lake views.

Ride ATVs and snowmobiles straight from the long private driveway to 100+ miles of Forest County trails. Fish the natural shoreline, gather at the private firepit with wood provided, or stargaze from the lofted bedroom windows he designed for her. This isn’t a cookie-cutter cabin. Every beam, window, and detail was hand-built by a master carpenter for his wife — and you’ll feel that craftsmanship the second you walk in.

Why groups & couples book The Carpenter’s Split:

5.3 Private Acres on Horseshoe Lake — Natural shoreline for fishing, kayaking, or quiet mornings. Unlimited parking for trucks, trailers, and toys. Nearest neighbor is 100+ ft away, tucked behind the trees — you’ll forget they exist.

360° Views, Year-Round — Modern wood interiors with massive windows designed to frame the forest and lake. Lofted bedroom ceiling windows he built so she could stargaze from bed.

Built for Comfort — 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, BBQ grill, firepit with wood provided, and a huge Blu-ray collection for nights in. 10 - 15 minutes to Potawatomi’s indoor pool, waterslide, and gym.

Two dogs welcome. No crowds. No road noise. Just the lake, the trails, and a home built with heart.

This is The Carpenter’s Split — half cabin, half home, all yours for the weekend.
