This condo is your home away from home (and mine too)! It features one well-appointed bedroom, one large bathroom, comfortable living room (new queen sleep sofa (memory foam mattress), and a full kitchen w/ 60 mbps of dedicated internet. There are 2 pocket dividers between the bedroom and living room. The kitchen has a stove/oven, microwave, conventional-sized refrigerator/freezer, convection oven, dish washer, coffee makers (small and large), toaster, and fully stocked kitchen with all the basics (and more - like Tupperware, Tervis cups, etc). Not to mention, a 15 second walk to the heated pool deck will allow you to grill on a 6 burner stainless steel grill w/ propane. The living room has a new pull-out queen sofa bed (memory foam mattress- no crappy spring) that sleeps 2 adults, a dresser, 46 inch cable flat screen TV (with USB and HDMI inputs), DVD player, IPOD dock, ceiling fan, and fire place. There is also a Play Station 3 with2 controllers (but no games). The unit has baseboard heat. Due to the location of the unit, there is no A/C unit needed, even in the summer.
The Bedroom has a queen bed (mattress, box spring, frame), new pillows and comforter sets, closet, sink, and 32 inch cable flat screen TV. It also has 2 new bedside lamps with USB and polarized outlets in each. Convenient for charging IPOD, cellular phone and more.
For your comfort, a humidifier, and extra blankets and pillows are located in the closet. The hallway has a rack for skis, jackets, and/or snowboards.
As of August 2013, all the items above have been purchased and installed.
This condo is located on the subterranean level with a view facing outside. Despite being half under ground, there are two large windows that allow a good amount of sunlight in (especially in the morning). One in the bedroom, and one in the living room. I have thick blinds and curtains on each to block the sunlight. At this level, the unit is kept cooler in the summer months and warmer in winter. The unit's location within the Carriage House complex makes it just seconds from the parking lot and elevator (need to go down 1 floor) for easy move-in/move-out. You wouldn't know it, but the front door is just 15 feet from the indoor Jacuzzi, heated pool with BBQ grills, and his and hers bathrooms. The Carriage House has underground parking garage and parking lot. The complex itself is just feet from 3 bus stops, which means you have instant FREE transportation wherever you want to go.
In my attempt to make my unit more affordable to visitors, I have decided to not provide toiletries, such as bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you are like me when you travel, you bring your own preferable toiletries for a fraction of the cost I would have to charge. There is a Revlon, 2 speed, cool shot Hair Blow Dryer. So pack accordingly.
When the condo is booked, I will email (personal email) you the Welcome Letter that is kept in the condo. Upon final payment, I will send you the Carriage House building code and also your unique condo door code, along with the Welcome Letter again. There are no keys to carry around or worry about losing.
