Great location. Great wifi connectivity. Great layout. Comfortable couches and deck chairs. My son liked the bunk beds in one of the rooms.

Beautiful home. Check in process was a dud. Front door isn’t working due to locking mechanism issue. Wasn’t made aware of this and had to walk through someone’s room every time we wanted in and out. No early mornings watching waves unless you want to go through the window. lol. Perfect location. Quiet and not nearly as crowded as it is about two blocks down. Beds are comfy. Laundry is in bunk room. No apps on tv. Which was fine. I enjoyed disconnecting. Plenty of blankets. Bathrooms were well maintained. All in all I would stay again once the door is fixed.

Just what we were hoping for!

Excellent experience from beginning to end! I have never delt with a management company that was so great! Their communication was a step above. There was a last minute city septic issue and the Evolve team made us aware of it before we got to the home for check in. The city was out shortly after check in and took care of it. Other companies wouldn’t have bothered to let us know. The home was clean and looked just as seen online. (That is rare.) It was well stocked with towels, toiletries, kitchen needs, etc. We have been renting homes in Surfside Tx, literally my entire life and this was by far the best experience We have had. The owners truly seem that they have put their heart into this lovely home and they made a wonderful choice by using Evolve!

My humble opinion is that you should not take this property into account if you want to spend a nice family vacation. The treatment is super bad. In addition, they handed it over to us at 6 in the afternoon when the contract was for 4 on the day of our departure. It only took us 30 minutes to leave. They called the police and they threw us out in a very bad manner as if we were committing a crime. I don't think it was the best way since we lost 2 hours of our stay. We were very understanding without detailing that we spent a night without air conditioning and they did not provide a solution.

Beach Fun!

Great beach house on front row. Ideal spacious deck overlooking the ocean for lounging away the day while watching the dolphins jump in the waves. Several restaurants & bars within walking distance...close fishing either beachfront or on the Surfside jetty.

Beware of the Roaches

The owner of the property was already notified of all the issues listed in this review and given the opportunity to correct any problems. After emailing her and sending her pictures of the roaches (at her request), I have not heard back from her. First, the house was not cleaned when we arrived (we did get there 15 minutes early). It took 3 ladies the entire first hour of our stay to finish cleaning the house. While waiting for the cleaning to be done, we discovered the downstairs shower (which is used to get sand off from the beach) and the gas grill were not working. We notified the manager and she said she would come back with a propane tank that night and have a plumber come out. The next day the plumber showed up without warning and got a tank delivered. The grill still didn’t work with the new tank. We notified the manager and got a charcoal grill the next day. But these things were nothing compared to the roaches. They were the tiny ones associated with filth. It was gross and they were everywhere. I emailed the owner on our 2nd night to let her know about the problem. She admitted there had been an issue since April and requested pictures for the exterminator (which isn’t necessary). If it wasn’t for family coming down for the day, we would’ve left early. We were concerned the roaches would get in our bags, our food, and about the cleanliness of the dishes provided. We paid a pretty penny to stay with a bunch of disgusting roaches.

Great Location

On the Rocks was just as shown in the listing. It is a perfect location, just minutes from all you need. There is plenty of room and the property has a great kitchen set up and layout. I would recommend this property highly.

Absolute perfect house! We took four of our grandkids and enjoyed every moment. This home is beautiful and located on the Pedestrian beach. The inside was so pretty and functional. I loved the sunrise!

The beach house is spectacular the best view of the sea the location is perfect we were steps from the beach my family and I spent unforgettable moments in this beautiful house. We plan to return very soon.

Great experience!

Was a great trip with my adult children. Everything was great - clean, great a/c, great location. Quiet at night, beautiful view in the morning. Had family staying at the other end of the beach and were jealous of this house. Only problem I had was not having a full size oven - other than that it was the perfect stay!!

Richters On The Rocks

This was our first trip to Surfside but definitely won’t be the last. We loved our week vacation on the beach. The view from our beach house was amazing!! I’m the chef in our family and being able to cook indoors and enjoy an ocean view all at the same time was AWESOME. The upstairs deck is fabulous! We fished, boogie boarded, went kayaking, played football on the beach and all of this was just a few steps from the house. At night we enjoyed listening to music and playing Monopoly. Our home away from home was clean, cozy and perfect for our crew of 8!
