Beach property

Lots of room for our crew. Close to beach. Nicely decorated. Enjoyed the patio. Comfortable furniture and beds. Would stay again.

Great beach house!

My family and I had a great time staying here. It is a close walk to the beach, and offers privacy with both a downstairs and upstairs unit. You can't ask for a better location and it has the necessities you'll need!

Great Location

Rob was incredibly responsive answering any questions we had. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and both downtown OOB and Ocean Park. Perfect rental for two families looking to vacation together.

Amazing Location

This house was amazing. There ended up being 9 of us and we were so comfy. The beach is right there and everything else is a walk away. Would recommend this house and might look into renting again next year!

Great location

The location was great and the parking worked for us by getting a spot on the street. The cottage was not very clean and it was very warm in both units even with the AC running the entire time.

Thank you Kim. Yes the location is fantastic. The folks last week raved about the place. We have a cleaning crew come in every Sat for 2 hours but if it is not perfect we would gladly send them right back to address anything they missed. We are very responsive to our guests because we want you to always have a wonderful week. There were a few very hot days last week, the AC helps for sure. On very hot days the Ocean is just 100 steps away to cool off!

9 Pearl is a gem!

Best attributes to this property are; steps from the ocean, no streets to cross, can easily park a few cars in the driveway…that was a big deal and huge reduction in stress…washer and dryer (so convenient). The owner is super vigilant answering your questions as they come up (thank you Rob!) Great experience!

Nice cosy and close to the beach

Really a nice place to stay clean and easy access . A few of the power outlets are outdated would be nice if replaced by new ones with usb ports for easy charging of electronics. I know beach means more upkeep but if it was me I would try and look at the place like a customer does no major issues but a few things could probably be done better . In closing if I had the chance I would rent this place again in a hearth beat

Pearl St rental

Black mold in the downstairs shower (which no one had noticed?) did not develop overnight. Lack of ANY outside privacy,-no back yard, Nit many of the outlets were grounded. Not the best experience.

Bernie has been a long term rental and has always been very happy. We have NEVER had a complaint about black mold and we believe it is actually a mildew spot in the bathroom which is not unusual in beach communities. When we first learned of her concern, we immediately jumped on this issue. In terms of the electrical outlets, there is no safety issue, the property has been approved and licensed by the town as a weekly rental. Most people really enjoy this beach rental especially its location to the beach. There is no back yard which is clear from the pictures and descriptions. There is a front patio and the beach is just steps away. This review was very surprising. We can only pledge to improve our property every year and make your experience great!

Great Location

Absolutely lovely neighborhood and very close to the beach and other OOB amenities. The location justified the price. But for this rate we would have liked to see some updates and better maintenance. The house was as advertised and fairy clean, but had some issues. The shower door and outside screen doors did not close properly. There were very old fixtures and electrical work with not all outlets working. Despite some minor inconvenience, our whole family had a good time and we would likely visit again.

The 9 Pearl house at OLd Orchard Beach

The place was very clean, close to beach and the down town pier. The property was plenty big enough for 11 adults and the owner was very nice and accommodating. The owner Robert was very easy to contact and willing to help but didn’t experience any issues during our week stay. If able I would book place again but not sure when I will get vacation next year!

WE found the house(s) very cozy and clean. You can't beat the location to the beach and just a short walk to to shops and restaurants. Loved it.

Coming to OOB as much as possible! We always go to this place.

Property is great! 7 people stayed. We always go with family so we have so much fun together. Beach is about 100 feet away. Easy with little kids to bring all your things down to beach and come back home to get food and get back out after the kids nap.

Perfect rental

This rental was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice. Both units are bright and sunny. The AC in each unit were an added bonus for the super hot days! Super clean and plenty of space for all! We couldn’t have picked a better house to rent for the week. The patio was great for dinners and playing games outside. So many laughs were had out there! We had great neighbors on each side of us, the list could go on forever about how much we loved this rental, the house has everything you could possibly need! The owner was great to work with! I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

100 steps to the Beach

Location was the best, steps to beach and short walk to just about everything else house was nice has some updates not pictured on the website kitchens and bathrooms small but we made them work plenty of room for our large family to gather or be separate as well Over all very nice beach house

Great Location

The Location is excellent. The beach is a stone's throw away. There are two units which is nice for privacy from the in laws. A small yard out front, and the beach is so close that we spend the day on the beach and walk back for bathroom and lunch breaks. A great experience and great beach house with two units which is a bonus for large families.

Very Relaxing

This was a great little getaway. The beach is practically at the doorstep, the neighborhood is quiet and it's close to pretty much everything. There were a lot of nights where we would walk the beach to the pier for dinner and it was gorgeous. The grocery store was close as well for the nights we ate in. The house itself was very comfortable to stay in with any accommodations we needed. Very warm and inviting experience all around. We will definitely return.

the location was great...1 minute walk to beach. the neighborhood and people were also nice. The house however was not as nice and needs a little tlc. We rented both units and the units are old. Stove in both units had only one working burner, microwave upstairs did not work and upstairs kitchen has carpeting. Very little space for cooking, we ate out a lot. The grill had two tanks and neither was filled....ran out of gas on Wednesday . I also cleaned when i got there.....carpet on first floor is heavily stained. Beds on first floor new, beds on second floor are old. Hate to sound negative, it was ok... just needs updating.

To walk out of your house and 100 steps later you are on the beach with beautiful coastline from Pine Point to Biddeford Pool is breathtaking. You can see the water from the front lawn and feel the wonderful ocean breeze. When you want to have lunch or use the bathrooms, just walk back to the house. Later when you want some excitement, walk right down to the pier without the need to find parking. It allows for a care free week of rest and relaxation. That is why we call it 'a Pearl by the Sea.'
