Fantastic location and condo

We had a fantastic time staying in this condo! It was very clean and spacious. The location is awesome, steps away from the beach, food, amusement park, arcade, stores. We loved the indoor pool also. It was great to sit on the deck in the evening and watch the waves. The owners are super attentive as well. We had a great vacation and look forward to coming back again.

Excellent Location

We had a great time at your property, definitely would recommend for the close proximity to beach and all the exciting places to see in the downtown area. I enjoy visiting Old Orchard and it’s not too far from Paradise Park where I could easily meet my family which definitely was a bonus!! It did not disappoint.

Family getaway for all ages

Our mom is in a wheelchair and was able to get out on the balcony and see the ocean during the day, and still be around to take out to eat with all of us when we went out. We had a 4 year old and a 75 year old and 6 of us in between. The Palace Playland next door, as well as the beach, the pier, and many shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts were very responsive.

A very enjoyable stay.

The property was outstanding and the location was perfect for us. However I would check the work of the cleaning crew seeing that we washed the bathroom floor and swept the kitchen area before we unpacked. Nothing major but should be a concern to the management team.

Memories made here....

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at OOB. This property is in the heart of everything and was beautifully maintained. My husband and our twin 10 year old boys made lots of memories here. You are just steps away from the beach, boardwalk, and many restaurants. Definitely worth every penny, will be booking here again in the future! Thanks for everything!

The property was beautiful, very clean and in the best location possible to be on this beach. Great views of the beach from the balcony. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, for cooking in if you wanted to. Pauline and her husband were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Very easy check in. We especially found Bill and Dane very personable and extremely helpful with any questions we had. Any staff members we came in contact with were always kind and courteous. We all agreed this would be the place to stay if we come back to OOB.

It was dirty. Under the sink was filthy, toaster was full of crumbs, cooking dishes were badly scraped and shedding covering , several lights were defective and no overhead lighting. First bad experience with VRBO. If everyone is paying the amount of fees I did someone is getting ripped off. It is our fourth stay in Grand Victorian.

Grand Victorian Unit 209

This was my son and grandson's Xmas present. They were blown away when we pulled up and was right on the beach and next to The Pier and Palace Playland. My only fault was the refrigerator ice and water dispenser's weren't working. Showed having beach chairs and towels but we always bring our own and didn't find them there anyway. The boys want to go back again next year.

Oh no on the ice maker, we were never told. I wish you would have said something. Beach towels and-chairs are not added. Reason: most towels always get left on the beach when they are not the renters. Chairs are brought and left in the car because the parking spot is right on the beach. I wish you would have reached out to me. We live on the beach and are a-text or call away and have always met all renters needs. Come back!!

The condo and location were great, however the listing was inaccurate as it indicated there was a hot tub, beach chairs, and a grill, none of which were on site, all which I relied upon when making this reservation. The owner acknowledged that the listing mistakenly listed a hot tub, but refused a partial refund (honestly any refund would have been appreciated) and only offered a credit for a future one night stay. I explained that this would not be useful to me since we had no plans to return to Maine. The reason given was that I did not notify them when I was at the property. I found out later that it is a VRBO rule that you need to bring up the issue while on property. In that case, VRBO could potentially find you a new property that has the amenity inaccurately listed. We were only there for a 3 night stay so that would not have been an option, to pack up and move to a new property. I also asked the owner about the beach chairs that were listed in the property description. The only didn't get back to me until night time of the following day offering to bring the chairs, which is when we were packing up to leave the next morning. I understand vacations are never perfect, but a partial refund was a reasonable thing to ask and the owner refused, and blamed VRBO for their incorrect property description, claiming it was due to a refresh of their system. Not sure how that makes sense. The listing has since been corrected for the 3 inaccurate items.

After 20 years of welcoming families, we know we can’t control the weather—or everyone’s expectations. If there is an issue during your stay, please tell us in real time. We want the opportunity to see it, validate it, and make it right. Complaining only after you leave, when we can no longer verify the issue, simply isn’t fair. We believe in honesty, communication, and integrity—not hiding behind the curtain after the fact. To our wonderful guests and future renters: thank you for recognizing the care we put into our home. 20 years of 5-star experiences speak for themselves. 🌊❤️
