It's an easy 8 minute (0.4 mile) stroll to the track, or a 7 minute (0.3 mile) walk to Broadway and Congress Park. Located across the street is the popular 5 Points Market & Deli, home of the best breakfast and lunch deli sandwiches in town, and the perfect spot for stocking up your wagon and cooler with food, drinks and snacks on your way to the track. For the adventurous, the Saratoga Casino and Harness Track, which also features great live entertainment at Vapor Night Club, is less than a mile away. The Saratoga State Park and Saratoga Performing Arts Center is a leisurely 20 minute walk from the house.

Fantastic Palce!

Our family of 4 enjoyed spending Thanksgiving in Saratoga Springs. This house had all of the necessities to make our visit an easy one. The kitchen is well stocked and the decor was warm and inviting. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We loved it!

The house was beautiful however it lacked a television in the living room or the master bedroom. Great backyard wonderful kitchen good bathrooms but if you like TV this is not good for you.

Perfection!

An absolutely beautiful home in a perfect Saratoga location. We were able to walk everywhere. The market across the street was our breakfast stop every morning. Lynn, the host, could not have been better - answered every question immediately. The house and outdoor space are equipped with anything and everything one could possibly need. Cannot wait to return!

A Perfect Pick

This is a beautiful property in excellent condition and tastefully decorated indoors and out. Centrally located with just a short walk or car-ride to the city center, racetrack or other attractions. Located on a moderately quiet city side-street with ample private parking for 2 cars. Large, fenced and shaded back garden with a firepit, lounge seating and grill area plus a lot more room for guests to join you outside. A garden shed houses a good complement of additional garden and racetrack conveniences. Quiet neighbors. The interior of the house is spacious, well-lit, and well ventilated (fans and AC), including the finished basement. Comfortable. A special touch is the useful notes left everywhere to help you quickly find what you need and what to avoid. The kitchen is well stocked with condiments, etc. All around a great place to stay with friendly and caring hosts.

Great house easily walkable to both the track and downtown. House had everything we needed for cooking at home and cocktail hour. Owner was very responsive to any issues that arose. Would definitely stay again.

This property has lots and lots of character! We loved it. The cleanliness and organization is outstanding... we never had to look far to find anything. The property has been updated with high-end finishes with beautiful built-ins, and a wonderful yard. Keep in mind that it is a very old house. Owner was fantastic!

Wonderful house with excellent amenities, including chairs, coolers, and a wagon to take to the track and travel-sized toiletries, medications, etc. in case we had forgotten anything. My husband, sons, and I had an excellent time. My six-year-old said “I like this yellow house” - high praise from him! Thank you for a great stay!

Charming, peaceful and conveniently located

Our family needed a change of venue during the challenges of the pandemic. We chose this property because it looked like such a beautiful home— and it was even more stunning in person. It was lovely to stay in such a historic home that has been fully updated and appointed impeccably. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 (we’re all adults now). We loved the front parlor to read by the gas fireplace, the huge kitchen was equipped for a professional, the stone stairway led us to a warm and comfortable ‘stone cave’ below ground. The bedrooms were lovely, with very comfortable beds—and extra blankets. In fact, there were throw blankets dotting the entire house for our comfort. We could easily walk downtown, and there were so many good restaurants in the area that we sampled. It was our first trip to Saratoga Springs which we loved, but our rental of this property truly made it a trip to remember!!

Wonderful, Relaxing Getaway to Saratoga Springs

Our family had a very enjoyable one-month stay at Lynn and Dave's house.  We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is charming, beautifully decorated and so comfortable, with well-stocked soap/shampoo, paper products, linens and cleaning supplies so you don't need to pack those items.  The kitchen is a perfect gathering place and also connects to a large outdoor patio, where we spent much of our time.  The patio has enough seating for about 8-10 people, including a very long sofa.  There is also a big grill, fire pit and a pretty lawn.  We sat/ate out here as much as possible, which was so pleasant especially in the early morning and late afternoon.  And for rainy days, there is a covered front porch with two rocking chairs. There is an old-school neighborhood grocery store across the street to pick up small food items and sandwiches and a Price Chopper supermarket which is five minutes by car.  We like to walk, so a few times a week we took a scenic 15-minute stroll past lovely homes and through Congress Park into town where there are boutiques, restaurants, and bars. We also enjoyed running in nearby Saratoga Spa State Park, which has shady, uncrowded paths. If we ever did have a question, Lynn was easily accessible and responsive to ensure a smooth stay. The house is really beautiful and homey.  We hope to go back!

Great Saratoga stay, ideal location

A charming historic house with all the modern renovations and amenities. Amazing kitchen and outdoor backyard with patio, grill, and fire pit, all of which we used extensively. About 15 minutes to center of town on foot and about the same to the track. Easy access by car to the east side big-box stores, if needed. Small convenience store/deli across the street for essentials. Central A/C throughout which was needed on hot days. Cool basement area. Owner thought of everything and was very responsive. We will be back.

This property is a true gem. The location was perfect, walkable to downtown and just a few blocks from the track and with a wonderful market accross the street. The house and yard were so spacious and Lynn has set ip many tjouhhtful details, from bathroom supplies to a wagon and chairs for going to the track! I would reccomend this house to anyone looing to enjoy saratoga and not wanting to stay in the chaos of downtown.

Beautiful historic home within walking distance to everything - cozy and inviting!

My friend and I were excited by the pictures, especially the cellar and all the renovations with keeping with the historic charm, but pictures do not do it justice!! So let me start with all the little notes throughout the house .. all so inviting of where everything is located and how to turn things on. Even for older folk who are not tech savvy, they make everything easy to operate. The guest rooms have cute little toiletries you may have forgotten at your disposal. I LOVE the organization of everything, especially within the kitchen made it easy to feel right at home. Again, everything just so welcoming and cozy. The owners knew we were coming for a Dave Matthews concert and had chalkboard decorated with lyrics - it's just all in the little touches. The decor of the place is just BEAUTIFUL. My friend thinks Lynn is an interior decorator with how everything went so perfectly mixing the new with the old. The bathrooms are gorgeous!! I LOVE the rocking chairs on the porch, perfect for a morning coffee. It was a surprise to us for the fire pit in the backyard on beautiful marble patio. We had s'mores every night and talked for hours. It was also sweet to have sirius radio ( which had DMB radio for limited time) play throughout the first floor:) In addition, the owners are very easy and quick to communicate with before and during the stay if there are any other questions. Overall, this place was just amazing, inviting, and relaxing - a perfect Saratoga weekend.

We fell in love with this home the moment we walked in the front door. We always wanted to live in Saratoga Springs, and the location of this home is just perfect with easy walking distance to the Track and downtown.
