This dog- friendly house is just what we needed. This is our second time in a month having to move out due to extensive home repairs. It is exactly as pictured, in a nice neighborhood, with all you need for a home away from home! Very clean with plenty of space! Host was easy to communicate with and check/ check out was very easy. Truly enjoyable stay and highly recommend it!

This is a beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean house in the popular Dogtown area. Some perks for me included the incredibly comfortable bed in the Master bedroom, the fenced in yard for pets, and the option to have off street parking in the garage (although I was able to park right in front of the house each day and night). The host was an excellent communicator from beginning to end and it is clear that he cares about his guests having a perfect stay. St. Louis has so much to offer with its numerous events, activities, and great neighborhood communities. With so many to choose from, I was glad I stayed in this area that felt like a quiet, safe location with easy access to lots of interesting places. Nearby Forest Park was definitely a favorite for walking and driving to each day.

Wow. Exceeded expectations. This was the best extended stay rental experiences we’ve had. The owners clearly care about guests being as comfortable as possible and having everything that could possibly be needed available- not just the bare minimum. It felt like staying at a relative or friend’s house with excellent taste and quality. The space was super-clean and easy to access. The area/location is very pleasant and walkable. Great communication. We’ll definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family visiting the area.

This was my first experience with Vrbo and I could not have been more pleased. The place was in a perfect central location and street parking was easy to find. You can see right off the bat that this owner cares very much about making their guests feel welcome, comfortable and taken care of. The place was clean and very nicely decorated with many small amenities that were available in case needed. The furnishings served our group well and the main floor was easy to move about. The stairs to access the lower floor are a bit steep, but once downstairs, the room is cozy and the desk and extra full bathroom were very nice to have.We were there during an extreme heat wave and the house remained very comfortable with central air and ceiling fans in each bedroom. The showers and sinks had great water pressure and there were plenty of wall hooks and charging stations around the house too which we were very happy with! The owner was very quick to communicate and made check in and check out seamless. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! Making guests feel welcome and taken care of is exactly what I aim for, so it means a lot to hear that came through. I'm so glad the house kept you comfortable during that heat wave and that the location and little details worked well for your group. It was a pleasure hosting you, and you'd be welcome back anytime. Safe travels!

We loved our stay! The photos and listing are accurate and give a very clear picture of the property. The house is small—which is expected in this neighborhood—but it is well laid out, beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. My family of 4 stayed and had plenty of space and everything we needed. There were plenty of hooks for clothing and towels and many cabinets for storage, even in the small upstairs bathroom. Our teen stayed in the basement; this is a great space to stretch out and had a fantastic bathroom. The outside is also lovely and had a little front porch to sit on and enjoy the neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly. There were many people walking dogs. We didn’t use the backyard, but it’s fenced and has a nice eating area and grill. Great central location near Forest Park, Central West End, downtown, and more. Streets in the neighborhood are narrow but it was easy to find parking. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this great property.

Thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful review! It truly made our day to read. We're so glad the listing accurately set your expectations and that your family of four felt comfortable and had everything you needed. It means a lot to hear that the layout and storage worked well — we put a lot of thought into making the most of the space! We love that your teen got to enjoy the basement — it really is a great retreat. And the neighborhood is one of our favorite things about the property, so we're happy you got to experience the friendly neighbors and the walkable charm of the area. We hope you get the chance to explore Forest Park and the rest of the neighborhood even more on your next visit. We'd absolutely love to have your family back — thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience!
