Recently renovated and stocked with everything you need for a fun and relaxing island getaway, this 4BR, 3.5Bth is located just a 1/2 mile from downtown Edgartown's shops and restaurants and a short walk to the renowned Morning Glory Farm. Playgrounds, tennis/basketball courts, outdoor gym, walking trails, and the public library are all within half a mile. Bike or drive 3.5 miles to South Beach, 2.5 miles to State Beach, or 1 mile to Fuller Street Beach.

Additional living space - which is attached to the house but has a separate entrance - comes complete with a living room, dining area, kitchenette, and small full bathroom with stand-up shower. The bedroom has one bunk bed and one twin bed and there are three day beds in the living room. This is a great set up as it provides a set of guests with some additional privacy and space from the main house.

Enjoy all summer has to offer on the outdoor patio (expanded with new furniture in 2024), outdoor shower/changing room, hammock, lawn games, and gas and charcoal grills.

Amenities include wifi, air conditioning, bluetooth speaker, and a storage room full of beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. This home has been in our family for three decades and we rent it out selectively. It's a perfect rental for a larger family, or for two families who want to vacation together, which is how we have used it over the years ourselves.

Massachusetts now charges 9.7% state and local tax on short term rentals. We typically rent Saturday to Saturday.

Wonderful Getaway

This stay was perfect - close enough to town to be convenient, far enough to be peaceful! There was so much space and had everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the laundry room. Would recommend to anyone taking a trip to Edgartown!

Amazing Girls Trip House

Had a fantastic long weekend in Edgartown. House was perfectly located, 15 min walk to town, 15 min walk to Morning Glory Farm and the bike path runs right in front of the house to access other parts of the island. House has a well appointed kitchen and very comfortable. Hosts were extremely helpful before and during the trip.

Summer Paradise

My family and I were lucky to rent this beautiful house for our summer vacation. This house is stunning and has everything you need to make your MV vacation dreams come true. It’s located right next to the bike path so our kids rode their bikes into town and South Beach daily and it’s a short walk to Morning Glory farm. The backyard is large and beautifully maintained. The house itself is just stunning! Beautifully furnished, cozy linens and fluffy towels. So inviting after a fun filled day at the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. The owners Carolyn and Ainsley were very responsive and accommodating. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us! The best home we have stayed at in MV so far. We hope to stay again when we return to MV!

Family friendly, great location, all the toys!

We loved our time at this fun property! From start to finish, the hosts were responsive and provided everything we needed for a most memorable family vacation. Lawn games, board games, beach gear, the place was stocked! In between Morning Glory Farm and Edgartown, the location was perfect. Super cute and cozy decor, we would book again in an instant!

Phenomenal Time in MV with the Family

Hands down best place we've rented on VRBO. Carolyn, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and was quick to answer any questions that came up. The house had everything we could ask for --- clean, updated, great layout, and lots of the essentials for cooking, bathing, etc. As a New Yorker and hotel road warrior during the work week, I'm a bit of a travel snob, but Carolyn's home exceeded my expectations. I slept like a baby every night in the gigantic Master suite, and the kids also slept in with the aid of blackout shades (thank God for those!). Everything in the photos is accurate and even better in person, which is not usually the case based on my other VRBO experiences. Also, the little apartment is adorable and perfect for older kids and adults alike. The hammock out back is a perfect place to read a book, take a nap, and just enjoy that lovely Vineyard breeze. I took my little ones out in the double stroller for runs --- the house is literally right on the walking/bike path so is super convenient. It was a truly magical trip to be with our family and walk past the church where we got married and revisit all the memories we’ve collected on the island over the years. This house was the perfect homebase for us during our stay. It was a welcoming place to come home to everyday after many hours at the beach. Will definitely stay here again :) Five stars all around! PS I do recommend not wearing shoes in the house as the floors are white and pristine. We normally don't wear shoes in the home b/c of all the nasty germs in NYC, so it was a non-issue, but I just want to set expectation for those who are used to wearing shoes in the home

Perfect Getaway!!

This is the perfect family getaway house! There's tons of space for kids and adults to enjoy summer nights together or separately. Perfect open kitchen with large dining table to eat and socialize together. A separate cottage for kids w/bunk beds gives just enough freedom for them to enjoy cards and other games separately. Outdoor shower and laundry room right next to entrance makes cleaning up after the beach easy as can be. We truly enjoyed our tech free nights and sunny days biking into town and beach. The perfect family getaway..Thanks:)

Best of summer 2018!

What an awesome property! This is a wonderful home that is perfect to spend quality time with friends and family. Just about everything you need is within walking or biking distance. The home was very well appointed providing and comfortable and cozy atmosphere to relax after a fun day exploring the island. The owners were very pleasant to work with and exceeded all of our expectations. My family and I look forward to returning soon!

Perfect!

A freshly and beautifully done cottage - from the moment we walked in we could tell this would be perfect for our group! Just as pictured - in fact even better! Open space / floor plan for meals and hanging out but private and comfy bedrooms for sleeping. Loved the large dining table and great lighting! The connected but private cottage rooms were an added bonus - would be great for two families or someone traveling with older kids or in-laws etc. A/C was also nice to have. And the large backyard was very private and quiet. The location was super accessible to town and an easy bike ride to beach. We used the bikes provided in the garage and had some gorgeous rides. Morning Glory is super close and a great spot to grab breakfast and homemade treats :-) Overall a fabulous vacation home - we will def be back!

50th Birthday on the Vineyard!

The Lee's were very gracious hosts. Everything you might need for a beach vacation was readily available (chairs, wave boards, umbrellas, games, bikes, etc...). The home is air-conditioned for warm afternoons, and has a wood burning fireplace for cool nights. It was very tastefully decorated, and had a well stocked kitchen. A coal barbecue was at our disposal for outdoor grilling, as well as a lovely brick patio with outdoor furnishings and an umbrella for relaxing or dining. The yard had a spacious grassy area (lots of little bunnies), with beautiful hydrangeas, lavender and clematis growing up an outdoor arbor in the back, as well as a rope hammock for lazing and reading after a day at the beach. The guest house was a great getaway for the kids to have some space of their own (and peace and quiet for the adults). The house is easily accessible to beaches and town. The master bedroom had a lovely ensuite, and a spacious outdoor shower. We had a lovely time. Do have someone check for oncoming bikes and traffic when exiting the driveway, as it is adjacent to a busy bike path and is difficult to see around the hedges.
