Summary:

(4WD recommended but not required). Do not miss this completely renovated mountain Cabin in Broadway VA. Stunning mountain views from just about every room in the house, but especially from the expansive deck with a hot tub and fire table. Right in between Bryce Resort and Harrisonburg (25 min to each). Less than 2 hours for our Northern VA guests! This is the perfect romantic retreat, or family getaway!

This place is a beautiful getaway for a small group. Wonderfully renovated, it has great furnishings and well out-fitted kitchen. The views are lovely and from the hot tub too! You will definitely need 4WD/AWD to get to the cabin, but the host communicates this in advance. The check-out process is one of the simplest I’ve encountered! I do recommend bringing bug spray or a citronella candle since the black flies and mosquitoes will get you.

We had a wonderful two night stay over the 4th of July and we loved this property. It is exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch and worked well. The views are beautiful. Would love to come back in the fall! We didn't venture out other than taking our dogs for multiple walks per day. The hills are steep so keep that in mind. We enjoyed a very nice and quiet family weekend away from a lot of the noise of the holiday. There were fireworks around in the distance but we couldn't hear them inside with the TV and AC fan on. We would love to stay here again. They do a great job with this very cute cabin!

My wife and I booked a stay here to get a relaxing child-free weekend away. We got exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was ready for use, the kitchen was more stocked than I expected it to be, the bathroom shower was nice, and the beds were comfortable. This location is on a literal mountain cliff and you’re going to be driving up steep gravel roads to get to it, so AWD is going to make getting to the stay less stressful.

This is by far one the cleanest cabins I’ve ever stayed in. The pictures are accurate. Host was welcoming and instantly answered all concerns and questions.Cabin has a nice view which we really enjoyed. It has a main HVAC split, but it also has heater and cooler available for each room which was really convenient.The only slightly negative point that I can say is that the hot water had a weird unpleasant smell.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at this cabin from 6/27-7/2 of 2026. The first thing I will say about this cabin is the view is second to none. The only thing you see off the back deck is a stunning mountain range. We watched the moon rise over this range every single night and it was breathe taking. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked with silverware, dishes and grilling supplies. We utilized the grill once which worked perfectly. The stove multiple times with no issue, and the hot tub/deck fireplace every night. This is a perfect location for a weekend(or longer) romantic escape. The AC split unit was plenty strong to cool the entire house as long as the doors were left open to the rooms and the Wifi was plenty sufficient to stream/search locations on your computer or smart phone. The owner is not joking about suggesting 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. We had a mini van and successfully traversed the drive at least 10 times but it was not a super easy task. 4 wheel drive would be best. The only negative thing I have to say about this beautiful residence is the location. If you plan to spend time at the Shenandoah National Park it is over an hours drive. Luray is 45 minutes and most restaurants/tourist attractions are a minimum of 30 minutes away. If your goal is a romantic peaceful quiet getaway with a loved one there is not better location. If you're wanting to spend time in the park, it takes some planning.
