Bring the whole family to this charming farmhouse. Enjoy the spacious fields and river. Cozy up by the fire after a day on the slopes. Explore activities in the surrounding area or stay and play right here. Cool down in the Rock River and sift for gold. Pick fruit from the pear, peach, and apple trees. Skate on the pond and relax by the fire pit. Stores, entertainment, and restaraunts are 10 to 20 minutes from this beautiful farmhouse retreat. Kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with spices, teas, and cooking and baking equipment. Pre-stocking of specific items available upon request. Complimentary VT Maple Syrup! 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 room with a King bed, 3 rooms with Queen beds, and 1 room with 2 twin beds that can be converted to a king. Sheets are 100% cotton. Wood burning glass front fireplace in the living room. The Rock River runs through the back yard. Relax to the sound of the rushing water. There is a family of eagles seen regularly and a flock of turkeys that frequently visit the field. Riley and Chris live onsite in an accesory apartment between the house and barn. They are available to provide assistance and allow laundry access if needed. Firewood is provided. Guests have access to the entire main house, screened in porch, and deck with hot tub. The field, fruit trees and river are free to enjoy. There is a fire pit by the pond and firewood is provided based on length of stay. Additional bundles available for $5 per bundle. The barn and accesory dwelling are occupied by the caretaker (hosts daughter Riley and her partner Chris). Riley and Chris will be available to assist you with all your needs. Their contact info is provided in the house. This property, built in 1854, is located along the Rock River which is easily accessible. The sprawling field features fruit trees and a heart shaped pond. The Rock River is well known for the gold nuggets found in it to this day! Mount Snow ski area is 15 minutes away. Stratton Mtn is 30 minutes. The town of Brattleboro is just 15 minutes. The property is also available for hosting events such as weddings, retreats, family reunions etc...
