We refer to the property and the "Winter Palace" due to its homeliness and European chalet charm. If you have visited the Swiss or Austrian Alps you will feel right at home.

Come sit by the fireplace or sit on the deck and watch the sunset over the mountains. Skiing, biking, hiking, hunting, golfing, swimming, fishing, movies, festivals, minature golf, canoeing, river rafting and antiquing all nearby!!!

Five bedrooms accommodate up to 12 guests (four queens, two twin beds). Newly updated and renovated kitchen and appliances, dining room, living room, two fireplaces and phenomenal deck with barbecue complete the house. Look out 50 miles and watch the sunset over the mountains – breathtaking!!!

Sit back in club chairs and watch TV on our two 50 inch HD TV’s. Great for sports lovers. And yes we have super fast Wi-Fi !!!!

House situated on top of mountain nestled in woods and what a view!! The property filled with mushrooms, berries, diverse trees and plant life, and a matching community of birds and animals. Deer prance regularly through property.

Nearby in heavenly Windham take advantage of spas, walking trails, Brasserie, Antique stores, steak restaurants, movies and coffee bars.
Endless trails and roads for mountain/road biking, zip lines, golf, Walking Trails, and cross country skiing. If you enjoy swimming in clear blue lakes surrounded by mountains than come on down!!!

For downhill skiers, Windham is a 5 minute drive, and Hunter Mountain is a 15 minute drive.

Windham Mountain and Hunter in the summer offer festivals, concerts, flea markets, zip lines and chair lift rides.

You are less than 15 minutes to shopping in Round Tree and close to delicious dinners at Prime Steak House and Point Lookout. You’re 2 hours from the George Washington Bridge or 1.5 from Tappen Zee.

Out of respect for the environmental, we emphasize recycling and use low-impact products (ideally scent-free) and smoke free.

You will have the house and property to yourselves. (Though someone may come to mow the lawn.) Two wood fireplaces, outdoor gas grill, washer and dryer, hose for washing down your bike or your dog, a long driveway for parking. Cell service is good at the house. Two large screen TVs. Bedrooms have summer breezes and a view of the stars. The kitchen updated last year to granite countertops, new microwave, toaster oven and al the basics for cooking (pots, pans, rolling pin, lasagna pans, etc..) included.

If you scramble down to Catskill Creek, you can go fishing in a pristine trout stream. A permit is required.
