Fantastic Winter Vacation in a beautiful, well kept, clean, spacious log cabin!
Would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area! Owners were courteous and accommodating.
Nice and spacious cabin, you will feel at home. Also, the owner is nice and flexible.
We had a great weekend, lots of snow and time to relax with family and friends.
Seven Springs Rental Home
This house was great! Clean, roomy and comfy. It met our needs so perfectly with the five bedrooms and basement suite! Lots of little extras incase you forgot something. So close to the mountain! Thanks Clinton!!
Beautiful home close to 7 Springs!
This house was perfect for our annual reunion ski weekend! The 5 bedrooms were great for the 5 couples we had on the trip! It would have been nice if there were more than 2.5 bathrooms, but we made do. We loved the large windows and "cabin" feel of the house. The location was also great as it was only about 5 minutes from the slopes and about a mile from a little market (coffee, beer, wine, snacks, etc.). I gave the home 4/5 stars as there were a few things that could use fixing/updating. Nothing that totally hindered our stay, but just some things that would improve the house and make it worth the money.
Spacious log cabin
This cabin was perfect for a group of us! The slopes and the spa are only minutes away from here. As soon as you open the door to this cabin your jaw instantly drops. The huge floor to ceiling windows with vaulted ceiling make the open concept living/kitchen/ dining room seem that much bigger! All the bedrooms where a great size with nice mattresses. The only reason I am giving this cabin 4 stars is because of the condition of certain things in the home. We paid a lot of money for a 'new' log cabin and were expecting it to be new. So, the title of the cabin is a little far from new. It is definitely used! Which is totally fine but we spent around $2,200 for the weekend and were expecting the place to match the price. All in all, the log cabin is very nice but the weekend prices should reflect the conditions of the cabin.
Thank you for staying at our home and giving us a review! We love to hear the opinions of the groups that stay at our family vacation home so that we can make things better and we can hear about what they liked. We hope you enjoyed your stay and had a fabulous weekend! Our cabin was brand new 4 years ago but we still consider it new for being under 5 years old and we just finished our brand new basement and added the 5th bedroom last year. We definitely are learning that renting it out throughout the year to many different groups to help pay the mortgage adds up on the wear and tear of our property. Within the next couple of weeks we are planning several different updates and replacing some of the highly used items to keep our home up to date and our tenants and friends happy and comfortable. Our prices are benchmarked to be comparable to the surrounding properties with the same square footage and amenities. We thought they were pretty competitive and actually on the lower end of what some of our surrounding neighbors charge especially during the high traffic ski season but we will definitely take a closer look and readjust if necessary. Overall, we hope you were very pleased with your stay and have a great 2018!
We had a fabulous time!!
The cabin is equipped with everything needed for the perfect stay! There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy all the cabin has to offer. The property is privately located on a beautiful wooded lot. We loved the quick acess to Seven Springs for the Fall Fest. I would recommend bringing plenty of outdoor chairs as seating is limited around the fire pit.
It is 1 mile from the north entrance to Seven Springs, and 5 miles over the mountain to Hidden Valley. Which also hosts 2 seamlessly beautiful golf courses as well as activities such as zip-lining, alpine sliding, fishing, biking, horseback riding, live entertainment, sporting clays, etc. Out the front door is direct access to the hiking trials, biking trails and mountain streams of the nearly 3600 acre Roaring Run Natural Area
