Spacious 2-bedroom home in a peaceful neighborhood

Welcome to this cozy home away from home! The apartment is located in a quiet, residential San Francisco neighborhood called Portola with easy access to many directions; downtown SF easily reachable by bus or BART subway and vicinity (far enough not to hear) of both the two main highways, 101 and 280, offer easy commute or access to SFO and the South Bay. Stores and restaurants in the Mission, Bernal Heights and Glen Park are within walking distance and it's also located just three blocks away from the amazing McLaren Park, 2nd biggest park in all of San Francisco.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, and access to the sunroom (home office) and the backyard patio. The second bedroom is on the street side of the house and has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have ample storage space as well as extra linens. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer with an ice machine, gas stove and oven, and plenty of small appliances like a blender and an air-fryer.

The light-filled sunroom has a desk and office chair. Also the second bedroom has a work station. The recently renovated bathroom has a rain shower and storage space. We’ll also provide an ample amount of towels.

Upstairs has central heat which is usually only required during the winter months. There is no air conditioning, but we’ll provide fans if needed. San Francisco’s moderate weather means it rarely gets hot enough to need a/c.

You'll have private entrance to the apartment, but the entryway area (“mudroom”) and laundry in the garage are shared with the hosts. Hosts occupy the first floor in-law unit of the home.There is direct access to an attached deck and backyard from the sunroom. The deck is your private space, but the backyard is shared with the host.

There are multiple parks and recreation areas nearby (McLaren Park, Palega Rec Center, St Mary's park, Holly Park...) - perfect both for kids and adults, and furry companions in your family!
