This south facing midcentury modern home (Permit #39744) has been fully remodelled carefully maintaining the clasical 1964 architectural integrity of architect, William Krisel. (exposed concrete block walls, clerestory windows, high cielings and seamless transition to the outdoors). In fact, this home was featured in the 2013 Modernism Week Home Tour and recieved glowing reviews from midcentury modern enthuiasts from around the globe.
Located on El Paseo Drive, The Sandpiper community is just steps away from world class shopping and restaurants.
Some of the many special features of this home include midcentury art and decor, indoor and outdoor dining areas, state-of-the-art kitchen with Ceasarstone counters, four high definition TVs, wireless high speed internet, gas fireplace, inside private courtyard with ample seating and gas BBQ, etc.

This property is a midcentury modern 'gem' and we just fell in love with it the first time we saw it. We were not even looking to buy yet, a month later, we owned it!
The design of this home brings the outdoors in with all the glass doors and clerestory windows. The Sandpiper community has strict controls on the exteriors so, everything looks as it did in the 50's and 60's when it was built. Thats what drew us to this location.
And speaking of location, we love the walkability to great restaurants, some with live jazz music (Back Street Bistro) as well as to some the most popular hiking trails in the valley. Also Macy's is right across the street at the Westfield mall!
Having spent two weeks in this beautiful condo, I can't say enough about it - it is beautifully renovated and furnished, and there is not a thing you could want by way of kitchen equipment, bathroom towels etc. The location across from the pool is wonderful and the patio is the best place to sit back and relax. The beautiful mountain views are a sight to behold. This has to be the best condo for rent in Palm Desert ........absolute perfection!!

From start to finish, the perfect vacation. With a place like this to call home, you'll struggle with ever leaving! This beautiful condo is clean, spacious, and captures the desert vibe perfectly. You'll find it stocked with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful, quiet escape from everyday life. We found the pool to be just what we needed for both lounge and play time; quaint and quiet. The small handful of neighbors we chatted with were all lovely. Beautiful grounds, and a nice location about 20 minutes out of Palm Springs. What a special find in the desert! We will be back!

Selfishly, I don't want to give away the secret of this amazing rental. Our family stays in Palm Springs/Palm Desert/La Quinta 3-4 times a year, and we have finally found our favorite place. The house is large, perfectly appointed, and in the absolute best location. We appreciated all of the updated technology and fully stocked kitchen. The pool was perfect for adults and children, and we had it to ourselves practically the entire time. This is truly a special find in the desert. We hope to be back very soon.

A luxurious rental that is well worth the money. The unit has everything you could possibly need or want plus more. Very spacious, exceptionally clean and extremely well furnished. The location within Sandpiper is the best you could get with beautiful grounds and a large area swimming pool right out your front door. We particularly enjoyed the private large patio with lounge chairs, top-of-the line barbecue and beautiful outdoor dining set. We would rent again. We loved it and the owners were great to work with.
2 min walk to Westview mall/Macy's, etc.,
2 min walk to live jazz one or two nights a week,
10 min walk to McCallum theater, close to
lots of cool vintage shops and you can
walk to probably 30 eateries.
One hour drive to outlet mall, 20 min drive to down town Palm Springs.
Cheap cab ride to the 'The Nest' - A great must see night spot.
