The room, kitchenette, bathroom & porch were well laid out & very clean. Decor was stylish & elegant. Everything we needed for our 5 night stay was available. Communication before arrival was clear & easy to follow. Communication while there with the hostesses was easy, quick replies & very helpful. We rested, reset & enjoyed our time immensely. We even set up for another stay next summer. Thank you.

Quiet place. Really enjoyed sitting on the back deck looking out over the woods. Great value especially with a small dog.

Thank you so much, Eileen—we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! The back deck is one of our favorite spots too, especially with that peaceful view of the woods. We love hosting guests traveling with their pups, so it means a lot to hear you felt it was a great fit. You’re welcome back anytime—we’d love to have you at Peace Valley again. 🐾🌿

A nice sized cabin, very beautiful inside and out. There was a very friendly dog! I would recommend this cabin for a nice getaway. The town we went to was about 30 mins away. Would recommend Wright's Food Center. The general store close by only accept cash.

things that were great about this property were the towels in the shower for top notch for a VRBO and microwave was in perfect condition as well as sink area for washing dishes. At first the refrigerator did not cool properly however the host was very willing to help and we fixed that issue within minutes. Now the downside, the maintenance of the property seemed to be lacking greatly as there was mold present in the shower and appeared had not been cleaned in a long time. Also the exterior of the property had weeds grown up no lawn maintenance of any kind and pine needles and leaves tracked into the interior of the home. Is in the woods so is going to happen however you would have thought that the interior would have been cleaner once we arrived and checked in.

Thank you for your feedback, Ed. We’re glad you found the property clean and quiet and appreciated the towels, shower, microwave, and kitchen area. We also appreciate you noting our quick response regarding the refrigerator setting. We’re sorry the property did not fully meet your expectations. Since your stay, we’ve reviewed the shower caulking and exterior maintenance items you mentioned and are addressing those details to improve the guest experience. Peace Valley is a wooded rural property, but the interior should always feel clean, comfortable, and well cared for.
