Spend Spring Break on our Oceanfront balcony!!

From the minute you walk into our front door, it feels like you are on a boat! We are right on the beach! Have your coffee on one of our TWO huge covered porches and watch the sun rise and be revived by the ocean breeze. Spend your days on our porches, rain or shine, stay in and cook, or enjoy our beautiful beaches where you can swim, boogie board, or build sand castles. We are a short walk to Garden City Pier where you can eat, take the kids to the arcade or spend all night fishing! We are the PERFECT vacation destination for your family, golfing buddies, or girl's trip!

We are a 4 bed / 3 bath (king, 2 Queens, 2 twins) townhouse condo right on the ocean. Recently Renovated we boast TWO 16 ft by 10 ft covered oceanfront decks.
The main level deck has new adirondack polywood seating and the second level deck has 4 rocking chairs for your enjoyment.
Oceanfront views from 3 of the 4 bedrooms and the living room. Lots of windows and natural light throughout.
Fully-equipped eat-in kitchen.
We are on the 3rd and 4th floors of a low rise building with a spiral staircase joining the floors in the townhouse. NO Elevator. There are 3 flights of steps to the main level.

Great Vacation Spot

We loved our stay at Grab some coffee and watch the sun come up. and We did that every morning, what a wonderful view. Very conveniently located to restaurant and shopping. We would defiantly recommend this place.

Perfect location for our family. Beach access so convenient. My kids range from 3-14, so being right on the beach was nice if anyone wanted to go to house and not sit on the beach. Location is key!!

Fabulous ocean front retreat- good for the soul

This fabulous place was one of our favourite beachfront rentals, and we travel to many. Third and fourth floors- open stairways- incredible decks with views and sounds of the mighty surf. Lots of beach activity to people watch, but a vast beach with gorgeous sand and great swimming and walks.

Just what we needed!

This was the perfect place to stay for our mini spring-break! We had plenty of room for 5 teenagers and my husband and I. It was the perfect location for walks to the pier and Sam’s corner. We hope to be able to rent again in the future.

Perfect Summer vacation

This was the perfect place for our family of 5. There was plenty of space for all of us (including 2 teens!) You can’t beat the oceanfront views and sunrises. It was very quiet and peaceful, yet a short walk and we were at the pier, shops, and ice cream. Perfect family getaway! Will definitely return!

Murrelet Inlet Getaway

Great property with a great porch looking over the ocean. Perfect for nightlife and restaurants at Murrells Inlet. Lots of golf courses around and the house was well furnished. Encountered a parking problem upon arrival, but it was quickly taken care of by the owner.

Great Family vacation Spot

We truly enjoyed our mini vacation! DeeDee was very prompt and responsive and exceptionally kind! The 2 decks oceanfront are simply amazing! The deck furniture is beautiful as well. Lots of open natural light. Only a few steps to the beach. Very convenient! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful Place to Enjoy Life....and the Beach.....

Our family had a wonderful experience at this property. The place was as listed and even better in person. It had everything we needed for our stay. I appreciated the quick communication from the owner when I contacted her regarding some questions I had. It's in a great location for things you want to do in the area. Loved the decor of the place as well. My family would love to come back again. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

Family friendly

We stayed in this beautiful condo over Spring Break with my 3 children and 3 of their friends. It was perfect. Plenty of space, right on the beach, arcade and ice cream within walking distance. Host was amazing! It was easy to communicate and house was stocked with all the kitchen things you needed. Amazing trip!

Will Stay Here Again and Again!

Can’t say enough great things about this slice of heaven right on the beach! My favorite thing about it was the super large balcony overlooking the ocean. And there are TWO of these! Often times you rent out these places that have balcony chairs that are so uncomfortable - not this place! LOVE the rockers! A+ host and stay. Dee Dee, you take such care of this place and it truly shows! Thank you!

Beach obsession

If you want a great beachfront location, this is hard to beat! Sand, shells, jellyfish, plovers, pelicans all steps away. LIft your head off your bed and see the waves. (Three out of four bedrooms have ocean views!) A very short walk from the pier. Our host was accessible and helpful with questions.

5 day stay

Beautiful decks and views. Excellent location with walking to bars and decent restaurants. House needs updating with new beds and linens for sure but great kitchen; bathrooms need updating. Overall very good. Covered decks on 3rd and 4th floors were perfect! On the beach and beautiful. We’d stay here again; hoping for updates.

Great Oceanfront Condo in Garden City

We have been coming to the Garden City Beach for almost 20 years. This oceanfront condo was perfect for our family. It was cute, clean and quaint. Favorite things included: the view from the balconies with comfy outdoor furniture, easy access to the beach, an outside storage stocked with beach furniture, and three parking spaces. We cannot wait to return for another stay here on the beach! Thanks for sharing your home away from home for us to enjoy. The Ayers Family

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!

There are no words for how wonderful this property is. The view is spectacular from both HUGE decks. Comfy beds and extra touches (throw blankets, pillows, etc.). Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again. Ice cold A/C too!! Owner was a pleasure to work with. Great communication. Book it. You'll love it=)

Peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at Dee Dees. The linen company was late delivering so she allowed us access to the owners closest for our linens and towels. That was very thoughtful. The condo was perfect for my family. So beach front it took 30 seconds to be on the beach! So close to everything. We will be back!

Great location, comfortable space and communicative host - what else do you need?

Two families vacationed here for a weekend and had a great experience. Fantastic location, obviously. Being right on the beach allowed us to enjoy our time out on the sand a lot more. Dee Dee's place also has a couple of beach items available; that meant that we had to haul around less stuff. The bedrooms and bathrooms were as advertised. Kitchen was adequate as well. The front decks that faced the beach were a highlight. AC was very much up to the task on hot days. Dee Dee was very communicative during the process; highly appreciated!

We loved the unit. Two large covered decks for viewing sunrise etc. Unit was clean with cheerful beachy decor. Bedrooms are on two floors connected with a spiral staircase, which may be an issue with very young and very old. We lost a half day of our vacation dealing with a faulty lock system but we are giving 5 stars anyway because the issue was remedied as quickly as possible. Brookgreene Gardens, several excellent Murrells Inlet eateries, and Myrtle Beach are nearby. Beautiful beach of course.

Over all the property was nice, however the porch swing broke while we sat on it. We hurt ourselves

Perfect space for everyone

We have stayed in a number of different areas of Myrtle Beach and already know that Garden City Beach/Murrell's Inlet is our favorite. We also prefer a low rise condo directly on the beach. We like to spend a majority of our time on the balcony and being able to have a meal there is a plus. This place checked all of our boxes. Five people. Two extra deep balconies. Perfect spot with wonderful sunrise views. Easy to cook in the well-equipped kitchen and it's just a short drive to great restaurants when we wanted to eat out. The owner was always available to respond and periodically checked in to make sure everything was going well. We recommend Dee Dee's place!

Those decks…

Owner is EXTREMELY responsive.. I had a lot of questions since we don’t usually stay in Garden City.. she answered very quickly each time. The condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We put the young ones upstairs because of the spiral stairs (they loved that), and the parents stayed on the main level. All of the beds and bedrooms are very comfortable and this condo was perfect for us. Three full bathrooms is a big help when you come up from the beach. There is easy access to the beach and a large outside locked storage to keep all of your toys, chairs etc. Would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend to others.

Location, location, location!

Not only ocean-front, but adjacent to a public access with one of the new walkways over the sand that doesn't get hot. Plus, look at the map. The Pier is a 5 minute walk, ans Sara J's only about 15. Kroger is just a 5 minute drive, and the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk only 10. As for the condo, it is well equipped with a unique layout that suits families perfectly. It was clean as a pin on our arrival and the owner answered texts promptly. And all the tv's have Roku sticks! I've been coming down here for years and this is the first I have seen of this ingenious idea. All-in-all, a very pleasant week at the beach.

Veteran LEO and Shriner does not recommend!!

Front door handle (code lock mechanism with no key) came off in my hand while opening door. Contacted manager/owner and was told "sorry for your inconvenience with the front door". Three older, professional couples (two Law Enforcement, all three brother Masons) were charged $184 after the stay out of our deposit to repair, what I believe to be, a simple maintenance issue. I assume if the dishwasher (or anything else, i.e. washer, dryer, refrigerator, etc.) breaks the renter will be paying for it...so BEWARE!!!!

Hello! We are Gary and Dee Dee from Dandridge, Tennessee. We own our own business, Whitaker Properties. Gary is retired from the boat business and I am retired from hospital administration. We have been together for 20 years. We have 4 amazing children. All married and living in various areas of the south. We have 6 REALLY REALLY amazing grandchildren. We love the lake and the beach! We love to camp and spend time with our children and grandchildren. We hope you love our home as much as we do!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for vacation since I was a little girl. My daddy liked a low rise hotel. (no more than 2 floors) He wanted to park, walk straight through the hotel out the back door and to the ocean. We always stayed close to the boardwalk. Great memories. Then when my kids were little we camped all the time at Lakewood Campground in Surfside. When Gary and I got married we came to a friends house in Garden City Beach and we were hooked! All the amenities of MB close by but the quaintness of a small beach town. We started with a trailer. Graduated to a house about 5 blocks from the beach. Then about 3 years ago we decided we were tired of just enjoying the beach a few hours a day. So we took the plunge for oceanfront and have never looked back. We LOVE being on the water!!
Oh and the my grandson was little he made me hold him in the water and when the waves hit us we yelled Boom Shukalaka............EVERY time. So now that he is 8 he made me pay him 40 dollars to use the name for the you have it sports fans...............

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I can't say enough about our decks. We are literally out there all day long. Its so nice with the grandkids because when someone needs a break or a nap, one of us just brings them up and they can play or nap and we can sit on the deck and still enjoy the day. Then the location. Just perfect. You literally could stay here all week, do one Walmart run and never leave!
