We invited 26 people for a long weekend of celebrating. The property is built for this. Plenty of space, great lake access, far enough away from neighbors, close enough to town for the things you forgot. It’s like a summer camp built for adults.

Beautiful site and location. The best! The house and property was exactly what we expected and wanted. The upkeep and maintenance was neglected and very disappointing. Our family vacation of 29 with kids, grandkids, and great grandkids was wonderful but I will continue searching for a rental like this one only under better management!

We hosted a backyard wedding at this property and had some family stay in the house. Although the house is undergoing upgrades, the property is very well kept and the host communication was excellent. Anything that did need fixing during our stay was immediately tended to. For the price this property is well worth it especially when the lake is full like it was for us. Overall I would come back to this property in a heartbeat just for the communication and views alone. The staff is very accommodating especially for planned events!! I am one happy bride!

We had a group of 26 married adults. This property has the right combination of queen and king beds with en-suite bathrooms. No bunk beds was great for this no children group. Kitchen was well stocked and pantry was great for such a large group. Property has an amazing view and the 10 acres makes for a great morning walk. Pool and (surprisingly) hot tub were fan favorites everyday of our stay. Downstairs AC was a beast, even in the 100 degree August heat. Having multiple structures and kitchens was nice. Great Wi-Fi, seating (interior and exterior), and convenient location. The house and property could use some TLC- a deep cleaning, new mattresses, new AC (bedrooms), shower valves (temperature issues in some baths), and lawn/beach restoration. The one “beach” is small and the lawn is parched and full of stickers.

It's a beautiful place in an awesome area, and the hosts were very helpful throughout. One of the highlights was that the lake is just a short walk from the house, which made it easy to enjoy.Would I recommend it? Yes, I would recommend it.Cleanliness: The beds and the rooms upstairs were very clean and comfortable. However, the kitchen fell short, the floors in the main area weren't clean, and the pots and pans could have used more attention. The lake area also appeared to have gone without cleaning for a while: the trash bins were still full and had clearly not been emptied in some time, as they'd filled with rainwater on top of the garbage. There were also a lot of spider webs, along with dry leaves and dust in that area.With a little more attention to cleaning in the kitchen and around the lake, this place would be close to perfect.

People still cleaning when we arrived at 4:00 to check in. They left a lot of dirty towels behind. Oven door hung by left screws right side just dangled. Sent pictures to host but no one came to fix them. Pool was dirty and very low hot tub also. Turns out pool not safe so we never got to use it. Hot tub got cleaned the second day we were there but not everyone could use it. Pregnant lady and small children were not comfortable to get in plus it has no handrail at all. The sandy beach was under water and not a safe place to get in the lake. So we had a disappointing family vacation where we had planned to hang out at the pool for several days ending up inside to keep cool. There were plenty of beds and all were very comfortable! Gameroom helped a little to be together but not completely desirable. We would have had a volleyball game if we could have cooled off in a pool. We ended up renting a boat to go to a sandy island for a day. Having a pool was our priority and I made sure there was one since the information listed one but did not show one in the pictures. I contacted them and they assured me one was being built and would be ready for us. Did not work out. I would want to see more pictures before I book agsin

We stayed here for a family reunion in June. The property and house are HUGE! It was nice having so much space and plenty of places to sleep. The main house had lots of room for seating at the dinner table, the living room, and the patio. Lake Buchanan is beautiful, and we had fantastic views of the lake from the house. Overall, we had a fun weekend, but were a bit disappointed by the condition of the home. We paid quite a bit to stay there, so we were surprised by the shabby carpet downstairs and the cheaply made window treatments throughout. The master bedroom was quite bright in the morning. The listing says "private beach," but because the landscaping could use some attention, you have to walk through some underbrush (including poison ivy) to get to the "beach." The lakeside patio, gazebo, and boathouse were dirty and in need of some repair. The pool is an OK above-ground pool with a leak. We rented a boat, but the pier and boat ramp were not accessible. If we had paid less for our rental, we would be fine with the shabby state of things, but we were expecting a much "grander" home (as the name and photos suggest).
