Fantastic location. Very clean house with comfortable furniture and a nice porch. We had an internet outage and the owner went out of his way to get things up and running for us even when we told him it wasn’t that big of a deal. There is a nice charcoal grill on the back deck also. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Stay

The house was perfect and even better than expected. It has wonderful furniture and appears to be professionally decorated. During our stay we cooked nice meals, stayed up late talking in the comfortable living room, and had coffee on the porch each morning. The driveway was a little tricky to find and it's very steep so I would recommend arriving before dark. I will definitely book this home again.

Fantastic Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jimmy and Jenine’s home. The hosts were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The home was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The home is cozy and beautifully decorated. It is located perfectly between West Jefferson and Boone. We hope to stay here again when we visit the area in the future.

It was nicely furnished and equipped with little extras which was very convenient. Very clean and private. Nice views. It's a little remote but only a 15 minutes drive to WJ.

Wonderful

The home had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Loved sitting on porches and listening to nature. Close to Blowing Rock and if you haven’t been to West Jefferson, it is a must! Ashe County Cheese has some great cheeses plus jams and jellies. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Mountain Stay!

We needed a relaxing getaway and this was absolutely perfect! The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything that you may need! This is the most well stocked VRBO property that we have ever stayed in! The house is spotless. Listening to the stream on the front porch is so relaxing. Easy drive to West Jefferson and Boone. We will definitely be back!!

Hosts have thought of EVERYTHING!

The main focus of my trip was to escape the unrelenting heat of home. The temps were consistently 20° below home. And the constant breeze made it even sweeter. But the best part of my trip is that my hosts were the absolute best in my years of vacation homes. They have thought of EVERYTHING! The motion activated nightlight in the bathroom. The power strip in the basket with a blanket by the sofa. The bottles of water and bags of coffee in the fridge. The directions to everything everywhere. They are the absolutely most thoughtful and deliberate hosts. Only slept in the primary room, but it was amazingly comfy. I spent a lot of time on the deck. The deck furniture is great (too many STVR just put uncomfortable plastic furniture out—not here, it’s perfect) Kitchen is very well stocked. I lacked for nothing. As a single female, the location was private, but not remote. Quiet, but safe. One of my best ever stays. 💕

Wonderful mountain home

This is our second time staying here and loved it even more than the first. The home is exactly as shown. It is so relaxing to stay there. Very close to W Jefferson & the blue ridge parkway. Jimmie & Janine are wonderful to communicate with. We’ll be back for a third time. Highly recommend

Ashe County Mountain Home

This home is immaculately taken care of. The grounds are beautiful, and the decor is well done. The owner Jimmy and Jenine are very special and caring people. They are always concerned that you have everything you need. Everything is absolutely amazing.

We would stay at this spotless place anyway, so much beauty around the house and outside was nice. You cannot go wrong if u rent this two bedroom home. We enjoyed this home and will be back when the dates r open again

Absolutely beautiful! No need to over pack like we did. Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Great experience checking in/out. Beautiful property inside and outside. Everything you need if you want to cook. Very spacious. Nothing even remotely negative about this rental. Definitely an A+++++++ experience!

The place is better than the pictures show. Extremely clean! Super easy check in. Directions were accurate. The hosts made everything extremely easy! Close to everything but secluded enough for relaxation,. Will definitely be back!

Peaceful, remote location. Well appointed. Great living room furniture. Ate all meals on porch table that included a couch, several sets of chaired and a swing. Fantastic beds. Thick, firm mattresses. Loved them - slept like a log.. kitchen well stocked. Only missing item was a gas. Grill. Although a charcoal unit was available. Enjoyed our stay.
