Haven

What a great stay! We so enjoyed our time and took advantage of it to rest physically and mentally. Most of our time was spent on the porch listening to the creek and watching the birds. Perfect retreat!

Hello Tamie, we are so glad that you got some rest and relaxation. Yes, the creek seems to have that affect on people. Some have fell sleep on the back porch. We hope that you get to come back real soon. Thanks so much, Jimmy and Jenine.

Fantastic location. Very clean house with comfortable furniture and a nice porch. We had an internet outage and the owner went out of his way to get things up and running for us even when we told him it wasn’t that big of a deal. There is a nice charcoal grill on the back deck also. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Stay

The house was perfect and even better than expected. It has wonderful furniture and appears to be professionally decorated. During our stay we cooked nice meals, stayed up late talking in the comfortable living room, and had coffee on the porch each morning. The driveway was a little tricky to find and it's very steep so I would recommend arriving before dark. I will definitely book this home again.

Close to Blowing Rock and if you haven’t been to West Jefferson, it is a must! Ashe County Cheese has some great cheeses plus jams and jellies. We will definitely stay here again.
