Overall the house itself was clean and matched the listing description well, which we appreciated. The main living areas were tidy and accurately represented in the photos. However there were a few issues; upon arrival the main bathroom had a noticeable marijuana odor which was unpleasant. The hot tub also seemed to be over-chlorinated-it caused skin irritation/itchiness and even bleached my wife’s swimsuit bottoms. Additionally we found uncleaned dead bugs under the beds, which made it feel like the cleaning may have been rushed or incomplete in certain areas. Communication was also lacking, as we did not receive any check-in message or instructions from the owner until I reached out and asked for it. Overall, it was an okay stay, and with a few improvements, it will be a much better experience for future guests.
