The Space:

Located in the Lone Mountain Shores neighborhood, this spacious lakefront cabin comes complete with a private floating dock on Norris Lake! The dock is perfect for fishing, and also has a ladder down to a private swim cove.



The three-story interior provides all the comforts of home. After fun-filled days on the lake, take a soothing soak in your jetted tub. Whip up delicious dishes in the sparkling full kitchen, with stainless appliances and ample counter space. Cozy up by fireplace or enjoy the cool central AC!



You'll love the expansive deck space and firepit for evening stargazing. Nearby activities include golf, national and state parks, horseback rides, and the local winery.

As our guest, you'll have full access to the entire property, except for a few areas reserved for house supplies.

Customer service was great. We were notified before checking in that the AC wasnt working properly. The AC ended up taking 2 days to fix. While the situation wasnt ideal or convenient, the owners were very prompt with communication and gave us a discount for our inconvenience. The home was clean and very well stocked with towels, extra pillows, and bedding. Kitchen was stocked great to accommodate our large group. A bathroom on each level was super nice for such a large group. The walk to the lake was somewhat rough (unstable rocks and roots) , but the water was very low during our stay which made it worse. The dogs enjoyed the large shaded front yard! Plenty of privacy and space between your neighbors!

This home is very far from main road. A 5.1 mile drive to your local Walmart is 30 minutes. Have to pay at local marina to launch boat..even if you take it to your house and use no parking at their facility. The large window and see thru curtains in upstairs bath was um..hill to floating dock was treacherous if not in daylight hours. Gnats or fruit flys along with large spiders and cob webs thru out the home, was very inconvenient, could not even stay downstairs. Was interrupted during our stay so a realtor could list. We had a great time on the lake not much to do around the house and all the marina restaurants close during this time as well as they are draining the lake daily. The host instructions for door lock was wrong, with no cell or Internet it took over an hour to get in. Would stay in another area because we did enjoy the lake.

The cabin was cute and cozy and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. It is also very convenient to the lake. But it needs a good overall deep clean and there was an infestation of gnats/fruit flies. I mean hundreds in the downstairs bathroom and bedroom and kitchen were the worst but they were all over the cabin. And the cleaning people knew about the problem before our stay because they had left out traps for them. It made our stay very unpleasant. Maintenance did come and pour vinegar down the drains and the cleaners came and cleaned the downstairs bathroom good but it only helped for a few hours, they came back. The host has offered no compensation for our trouble. My sister in law who was in the downstairs bedroom had to come up and sleep in the living room 2/3 because of being bit by gnats in the bed. It was bad!

The pictures of the property were outdated and not accurate for the view of the water. The pictures from the listing were old and the trees have grown immensely comparatively, plus I didn't realize they were taken in the winter. The water is not visible from the house so even though we had older kids who are strong swimmers I wasn't comfortable with them swimming unless an adult was down on the dock. The house itself slept 15 people as stated but to use all 3 showers wasn't possible as the hot water would run out quickly. The master shower's grout is also failing with mold in some of the cracks. The kitchen was grossly understocked with utensils and pots, we couldn't even cook a spaghetti dinner for the group as there wasn't a pot big enough and it seemed everytime we looked for a specific utensil it wasn't available. The grill didnt have a drip pan and was dangerous to use. The grounds were also at a much bigger slope than I realized in the pictures. The dock wasn't secured correctly when we arrived and after several of us had almost fell, my husband was able to fix it. Luckily he brought his tools. We were able to have a nice trip and enjoy ourselves, the water was nice, but just wanted to have others looking into the house have a better idea of what they were getting before hand.

This was a beautiful spot on the lake for our family trip this year! Be sure to have everything you need before you go, its a 25 minute drive through the mountains to get anywhere. However, we were able to order supplies from Walmart and they delivered! We had plenty of space and the host was very attentive to our needs. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We were at the house for a week. Had a wonderful stay!

The house was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Short walk to the dock where we kept our boat and sea doos. Cove was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!
