For last 15 years, I have visited Big Bear Lake area about 30 times trying new cabin every time. I can say that this home is the best among the 30ish cabins I have tried. Clean, neat, modern, close to slope, close to village, yet very private. I would check the availability of this cabin first for the next visit.
This house is adorable. It is recently remodeled and in a quiet location, but still close to everything we wanted to see. My kids could have played all day on the basketball court and with the arcade games in the house. We loved the hot tub and deck. It felt like you were in a tree house. The one drawback was the stairs were narrow and steep. I would be careful if you have mobility issues.
My husband and I plus 3 teen girls and 1 muttling had a fantastic stay here for Fourth of July. Very clean cabin on a quiet cul de sac. Hot tub and sauna were wonderful. Fun game room. Comfortable beds. Close to the lake and Town center. Host was fantastic and surprised us with a Fourth of July gift basket full of patriotic goodies that included glow sticks, American flags, snacks,a bottle of wine and more! Everything was in working order (although the water pressure struggles a bit). One word of caution: The internal stair case is no joke - it’s steep and narrow. Didn’t pose any problems for us but heads up if you have ambulatory issues or an elderly pet. Overall a fantastic stay. Highly recommend staying here!
I have to agree with the first review: this is truly a special cabin that offers experiences we've never had during any of our previous stays in Big Bear. What makes it so unique is the combination of location and amenities. The cabin sits right against the National Forest, giving it an incredibly peaceful, secluded feel, yet it's only two blocks from Snow Summit. That's a rare combination you don't often find. Our favorite part was how much there was to do, especially for our kids and teens. Between the basketball court, pickleball, frisbee golf, indoor games, and the ability to hike directly from the property all the way toward the Village, there was never a dull moment. Everyone always had something fun to do, whether they wanted to be active or just relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was one of those places where the property itself became the vacation destination. We made memories we'll be talking about for years, and we can't wait to come back.
