Ground Floor Cottage with Free Beach Service!

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay at Hidden Dunes Cottage 204. We were so happy to hear that you were well served by our rental unit and that we more than met your expectations for a quality beach vacation rental. We were sorry to hear that you were less than impressed with the Hidden Dunes property itself. While the shuttle is only seasonal. One of the things that makes this property attractive to guests is that it is easily walkable. The HOA maintenance uses a blower to clear the sidewalks of debris and is out most days, but depending on the weather while you were here makes a difference. If its rainy and/or windy they will be harder to keep clear. The Homeowner’s Association uses not only their maintenance staff for keeping up with the grounds but also uses a professional landscaping company along with an arborist and their own garden committee. Doormats are provided at the front and back doors of all units to help with anything getting tracked inside. Like most busy resorts, parking is challenging but based on the number of people the unit sleeps, it is fair. There are dedicated handicap spots. We agree beach access is difficult for those with mobility issues and we continue to pass along these types of comments to the Homeowners Association so they can make improvements. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay at Hidden Dunes Cottage 204. The Beach and Tennis Resort is a wonderful family-friendly community. We apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. However, we appreciate the suggestions. Unfortunately, Florida laws prohibit us from leaving any consumable product, including spices, condiments and ice, for health reasons. We provide one roll of bathroom tissue on the holder for each bathroom, a bath soap, a roll of paper towels, and two bags per trash can. We also provide a welcome kit with a sponge, dish soap, packets of dishwasher detergent and packets of laundry detergent upon arrival. Due to varying lengths of stay as well as guest allergies and brand preferences, Newman-Dailey has found that guests appreciate shopping for the products they need and want for weekly stays.
