3 Bedroom With Mountain Views
This is a terrific 3 bedroom Chateaux unit that is just across the street from the base area of CBMR. The condo has been partially renovated with hardwood floors, new doors and trim in the kitchen/dining/living room.
The condo is well-stocked with all you might need. The living area has comfortable seating for 5-6 with a couch and love seat. The dining area has seating for 6 at the dining room table with 3 additional seats at the bar top.
Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the 2 guest bedrooms have a queen sized bed in one and than a bunkbed with a twin over a double bed and a single stand alone bed in the other. All have brand new linens, blankets and comforters.
The complex has an outdoor pool and hot tub as well as a sauna. This is a fantastic place to set up base camp while you explore all that the Crested Butte area has to offer.
It is also on the bus route and is a short 3 minute shuttle ride to the base area. The free Three Seasons Shuttle operates from Nov. 22nd through April 8th. The Shuttle loops from Mountaineer Square, stopping at condos along Marcellina Ln. including Three Seasons, Outrun, Mt. Sunrise and the Chateaux. It runs every 15 minutes from 8:00 AM to 10:45 PM. In summer, The Town Shuttle loops through Crested Butte with stops at Old Town Hall, 2nd & Whiterock, 6th & Belleview, the 4-Way Stop and Teocalli. On its way up to Mt. Crested Butte, the Town Shuttle stops at Crystal Road on demand only. You must let the driver know you want to disembark. It then proceeds to stop at Wood Creek/Mountain Edge, The Plaza and Mountaineer Square. On its scheduled departure for Crested Butte, it has stops at Three Seasons/Outrun, Mountain Sunrise, Chateaux and Pitchfork. This runs every 20 min from 7:35- midnight.
Discounted lift tickets are available. The condo also has designated wifi for this unit only.
11/2017 - owners have just put in new carpet in the bedrooms, painted and replaced all the bedding.
The 6th night free promotion is N/A Xmas/New Years, Spring Break, 4th of July week.
Please note that the pool/hot tub/sauna area is open seasonally. Typically it is open in season - winter season opening day to closing day and than will reopen mid-June through Labor Day. The pool will close after that but the hot tub will remain open for most of Sept. Please ask if this is an important piece for you!
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.
Due to HOA covenants trailers are not allowed at this complex. Each condo is allowed 2 undesignated parking spaces.

This was one of the best ski condos we've ever stayed in. We stayed 4 nights with 2 families with young kids, and we all had a great time. There was plenty of room for all of us, the condo was furnished with quality furnishings, it was very clean, and the beds and linens were very comfy. It was also very easy to get to and from the mountain--either walk or take the shuttle which runs every 15 minutes, which you pick it up right in front of the pool. The pool, however, is pretty frigid, so stick to the hot tub and sauna. We would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we come back to CB!
Very nice and very comfortable condo for our big group. 2 couples, one with a 7 year old daughter in tow, and 3 single bros all stayed here comfortably. Renovations make this one of the nicest Chateau units we saw. This unit is on the ground floor in the last building (building A) and faces the butte. You're in easy walking distance to the lifts, but the shuttle bus stops right in front of the pool/hot tub and goes straight to the resort, so you can ride if you want. More importantly, the bus brings you back to the Chateau every 15 minutes, which is great when your legs are made of Jello.
The beds were super comfy, albeit with WAY too many decorative pillows. The master suite is very nice, the queen room has an incredible view, and the 3rd room has a great bed combo. The den is comfy, but doesn't seat 8 people well. Still, the wood fireplace really ups the ambiance. The kitchen table seats six, but there are 3 bar stools so there is a seat for everyone. The porch furniture is sufficient, but not comfy--just a basic table and 4 chairs.
We wanted to save money by eating in, so we cooked a lot. The kitchen is pretty decently stocked (especially after we broke their old banged up crock pot and bought them a brand new one off Amazon), but there were not a lot of big pots, which we needed. There were staples (S&P, sugar, some spices, coffee filters, etc) available, which is awesome. It is a short walk to the little market/liquor store if you need last minute sundries.
I have one minor complaint: the owners have locked half of every closet, so there is not a lot of closet space available. Oh, and all of the decorative pillows.
Shay and the folks at Alpine Property Management were SUPER helpful whenever we needed anything, and if this unit is booked, you should check out their website to see their other properties. I would include a link to their site here, but VRBO won't let me add urls, soooo...Google!
All in all, this was a great place to stay.
Actually, let me revise this glowing review by saying that this is a great place to stay EXCEPT for the first week in March. You don't want to stay there then. Nope. It sucks that week. Gapers everywhere. You don't want it. Seriously. It sucks. Way too many decorative pillows.
Great location, updated features and very clean.
The layout of this unit with 3 bedrooms and the living area all on the ground floor was ideal for our group of 5 adults. Easy to get to the ski area via a bus or walking a short distance down stairs and across the road. Units seemed to be recently updated and was very well taken care of.
Comfortable, welcoming, beautiful views, clean, nice decour. Well stocked kitchen.
We loved our stay. We came for a three-day ski vacation. The location was great, very easy to get to the ski resort. It was nice to have the three bedrooms with three private baths. The common area was spacious, clean and well decorated. The fireplace was cozy . The views are beautiful. Great place.
Excellent spot for a ski vacation
My family of 8 adults stayed here over Christmas, and found it to be really well located. We could easily walk over to the main square/base area, where we could pick up the shuttle to town. We had plenty of room and it was great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Very Nice Condo
We enjoyed our stay. It fit 7 adults fine for a long weekend. Kitchen was nice and fully equipped. Extra toilet paper, paper towels and detergents were provided, which was really a bonus. We were told that our condo was nicer than another one in same complex that the other half of our family stayed in. It’s very close to the Grand Lodge and Lodge at Mountaineer. I’d recommended this place if you’re looking to stay here.
This condo is located in the Chateaux Condos which is across the street from the CBMR base area.
