awsome experience

casa frida is a wonderfull place to decompress in a small town with everything you could ever want.the room had all we needed for or stay.has amazing views. staff has the room so clean as well.check in was a breeze.

Great Place to Stay

We (two couples) stayed at this condo for five days and absolutely loved it. It’s beautiful and clean and has everything you need, even chairs to take down the beach if you like. We enjoyed the pool and having our own lounge chairs on the water. We loved the view from the balcony. We will be back I’m sure. :)

Nice condo

We had easy check in and were able to check in early. We had water issues in the showers that were fixed by day three. The bed is very soft. It was clean and a great location

Beautiful Condo in Charming Beach Town

Had a great few days staying at Casa Frida. The home is well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. Spent evenings on the patio enjoying the ocean views and breeze. The access to the beach was great and the pool was a nice bonus. The kitchen had all the needed appliances and kitchen ware. The home is a 10-15 min walking distance to the town center which is charming with many food options and shopping options. You can walk to town along the beach as well. The property is well kept and has beautiful green spaces. Check-in was easy and the property management communicated proactively. I highly recommend Casa Frida and will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time I stayed for a month at Casa Frida & I rebooked for same time next year. Immaculately clean, comfortable, and great location, but what makes it terrific is the management company, Abbey del Sol: when in Puerto Morelos I'd NEVER rent from anyone but these folks (and I've stayed at a few of their properties). They respond IMMEDIATELY and with genuine kindness and courtesy to any request. I also use their transportation to and from the airport. Mildred, Mary, Jin, and everyone else -- I'll see you soon! It's about a 15 minute walk to downtown/Malecon area and near many things (and essentially beachfront); as a solo female traveler I also felt extremely safe.

Amazing stay at Casa Frida!

Casa Frida is absolutely lovely. Right on the beach and an easy walk to the beautiful and relaxing town of Puerto Morelos. The condo was sparkling clean and has every amenity. Casita Blanca is well maintained. The pool is great, the palapas and chairs on the beach are so nice. We’ll be back for sure!

A great vacation

Casa Frida is a lovely condo . This was our second time staying there. Convenient to all the town shops & restaurants. The office staff at Abby Del Sol is very helpful. Any problems are resolved right away. My only concern, was that the beach was not being cleaned as it was in the past, but that would not deter us from coming back . We had a great vacation at Casa Frida.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love our stays at Casa Frida. The 3rd floor offers a spectacular view overlooking the pool and Caribbean Sea. The unit itself is very clean, bright and extremely inviting. The kitchen is fully functional, and the beds are extra comfy for a good night's rest. The Balcony offers plenty of space to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a night cap to close out the day. Plenty of water for drinking/cooking is provided at all times.Casa Frida is within a 10–12-minute walk to many local restaurants, town square and supermarket. No car required if you plan to stay in town. If you do require a car, Abbey Del Sol can make that happen. They also offer private Airport/Ferry transfers at a fair price.ADS staff is amazing and very attentive...above and beyond!We've stayed in many units at the Casita Blanca complex and Casa Frida is hands down, our favorite.The only thing that I would recommend is ADS provide an umbrella to go along with the Tommy Bahama beach chairs. It can get very crowded around the beach palapa's leaving no place for other tenants to sit in the shade.

The deck was lovely and made it unnecessary to use the lounge chairs on the beach or by the pool, fortunately. Although a more usual complaint might be not enough hot water, the water in the sinks and showers was plentiful and if anything a bit too hot, cleaning was done quickly and effectively and reception desk was always very helpful.

About a 15 minute walk to grocery store, town square and large selection of restaurants and shops. Unit is on the third floor with no elevator access which was fine for us but might not be for others. The pool and surrounding area was well-maintained and clean. Folding beach chairs are also provided in-room for those who do not want to get up early to claim a beach chair.

Beachfront Gem

Online pics were exact! The space was beautifuly decorated, perfect location and a few blacks from town square. Easily walk or ride bikes. The morning sunrise views were priceless. We met other folks that owned units in the complex that were very friendly. Diving Bar is next door and never loud, but it sure is fun. Just steps from the beach so you can enjoy poolside lounging or hanging in the beach. Never felt unsafe even walking home at night. Property Mgmt was amazing and readily available if we needed anything. I want to live in POMO! I hope to be back soon!

Short stay before flying home

After checking out of an all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya we stayed 2 nights at this lovely condo with beautiful oceanfront views. The unit was perfectly clean and provided more than enough room for our family of four. My daughter had the pool to herself the first evening and we ate at Unico Beach club the first night since we wanted something close and quick. We walked 15 min to breakfast at El Nicho the next day (highly recommend) and then did an excursion with Cenote Zapote. Pricey but worth it to swim in 4 beautiful cenotes! We walked the beach into town and ate at King Tacos and got some ice cream. It was dark so we felt more comfortable grabbing a taxi back to the condo. It was only 3 US dollars plus a tip. The one slight drawback was the seaweed that deterred us from swimming in the ocean, but that is outside of the owner's control. The beach in Riviera Maya did not have as much seaweed and still had clear blue waters to swim in. Just something to note if swimming in the ocean is high on your list. Overall, we had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Reviewer Comments: I had a lovely time at Casa Frida -- it was perfect size for a solo traveler (room to work remotely) & I loved that it was the third floor/top floor. Abbey del Sol is a terrific company to work with -- very responsive! Overall it's a quiet location -- any substantial evening noise came from the nearby hotel/small resort The Fives when they host special events (and then the super loud music/ noise can be ghastly, but it wasn't all the time) so any issues I had were not at all with the company or the unit itself. Shared pool can get busy (not all units managed by Abbey -- some are owner-occupied) but condo is beachfront and very easy walking distance to beach clubs etc. Easy 10 minute walk to Puerto Morelos town center. I highly recommend using Abbey del Sol's airport transfer service as well.

Beautiful inside and out!

The accommodations were stunning and everything was so clean and comfortable. We loved the ocean view from our balcony and enjoyed watching the sunrise everyday! Mariela was so helpful and responsive to any of our requests. Definitely recommend!
