PlayaSol-8-202 - Nuestro condominio es la Unidad 202 del Edificio-8 en el hermoso complejo Villa PlayaSol en Puerto Morelos. Es de propiedad privada y se mantiene en excelentes condiciones por nuestro administrador de la propiedad bilingüe en el sitio. Tenemos 2 dormitorios y 1. 5 baños, cocina totalmente equipada, aire acondicionado, ventiladores de techo, caja de seguridad, televisión por cable, internet inalámbrico dedicado, sillas de playa, sombrillas, equipo de snorkel, toallas de playa y un balcón delantero y trasero con excelentes vistas de la océano y la piscina. Los jardines son impecables y cuentan con una gran piscina de agua dulce, palapas múltiples y parrillas para barbacoa.

Estás a solo unos pasos de nuestra hermosa playa y del cálido mar Caribe. Puede hacer snorkeling desde nuestra playa, o puede realizar un recorrido por el Gran Arrecife Maya, que está a solo 500 yardas de nuestra costa, tenemos un operador justo afuera del complejo. La plaza de la ciudad está a solo 4-5 minutos andando ya sea por la playa o la calle donde hay muchos buenos restaurantes, un cajero automático, cambia, mercado de pescado fresco, parada de taxis, helado, iglesia, batidos y varios lugares agradables para pasar el rato. bebe margaritas o mira a la gente. También puedes tomar fruta fresca del camión de frutas o algo dulce de la camioneta de pastelería ambulante.

Beach Gem in Puerto Morelos

Wonderful week in a perfect condo! Very comfortable, clean, and with all amenities needed. We particularly loved the bikes and felt like real locals using them! Also loved the peaceful grounds and sparkling pool; we thought the best location in all of Puerto Morelos and hope to be back again next year!

A great place in a phenomenal location

We loved staying at Puerto Morelos for the second time. There were many things to love - property owners were very responsive, kind, friendly, knowledgeable. The location of the condo was phenomenal - it was a minute walk to the beautiful beach, pool right on the property, walking distance to many restaurants, shops, grocery stores. If you are staying at Puerto Morelos, you have to stay in this area, as it is central to anything and everything you need. It was only a short 20-25min ride from Cancun airport.

Great location

Great condo with views of the ocean from all the windows, lovely pool and complex, right in front of the swimming area of Puerto Morelos beach. It had everything we needed. The AC worked beautifully (we turned it off when we weren't inside, and it didn't take long to cool the place when we returned). This place is just 4-5 blocks from the main plaza, and all along the way there, there are lots of wonderful restaurants. We want to go back!

Perfect for First Trip to Puerto Morelos

I chose this property because it seemed to best suit our needs as first time travelers to Puerto Morelos. We had a great stay. This property is perfectly situated on the beach and just a short walk to town. The grounds are perfectly manicured. The condo was very clean and met our needs for space and function. The kitchen would not be sufficient for BIG cooking, but it was find for the amount we do on vacation (very little). There are restaurants just a short walk both ways on the beach, and a huge selection of restaurants in a five minute walk to downtown. We stayed the first week of June, and I think only three other condos had people staying, so we had the pool and beach overlook to ourselves.

Fantastic Location!

This was our first visit to Puerto Morelos and we will definitely be back. Such a cute little town! Very clean, safe and easy to navigate. The condo has the perfect location--close to town and on a great stretch of beach. Katy and Cece were both quick to respond and very helpful. Good size pool with a view of the ocean and well maintained grounds. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and so well stocked--snorkel gear, beach chairs, floaties, a small cooler, beach umbrella........we didn't want for anything. The property may be a tad outdated, but was perfect for our family. So many cute restaurants with great food--My Little Italy, La Sirena, El Nicho, Mangata.... If you are cooking in, you can't beat the prices at Chedraui (bring your own bags). The seaweed was a bit of an issue, but there were other activity options--the pool, cenotes (we went to Zapote and loved it) and snorkeling with Cece's dive shop (even when there was seaweed at shore, the reef was clear). We will definitely be back, but probably a different time of year.

It was a great stay! The manager was super helpful when we needed anything and the location was ideal. Right on the beach! They even had snorkel gear and basic beach things like towels. Will stay again!

Perfect Place

Excellent location! Felt like everything was at our finger tips. Felt very safe, we walked to most places day and night. Apartment had everything to make you feel at home. Great communication with owners and property managers. Loved our stay!

Enjoyable Trip

Our family of four stayed for five nights in April. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, beach gear provided by the owners, daily housekeeping service, and the friendly property manager. Prior to our arrival, hosts Tina and Frank were very responsive and happy to answer any questions. We spent most of our days/evenings out and about. The condo was perfect for sleeping/showering/snacking (adequately sized but not necessarily spacious.) The wi-fi worked perfectly, as did the aircon, hot water, etc. The kitchen seemed well-stocked.. We slept comfortably every night and found it to be very quiet. The grounds were nicely landscaped and maintained. The pool was cleaned daily and enjoyed mostly by families with small children. The property sits on a beach popular with families and sunbathers. The vibe was mellow and family-oriented. Due to the barrier reef, the sea is very calm with lapping waves, powdery sand, and clear water. There was some seaweed on the beach (like everywhere in the Riviera Maya) but it was never an issue. Our kids enjoyed snorkeling near the shore and spotted a few kinds of fish. The few beach vendors we saw mostly sold snacks (fresh fruit cups, kibi, and drinks) and were never aggressive. There were some "easterly winds" during our stay which halted boating /snorkeling operations for a few days, but the beach was still enjoyable. The center of town was about a 5-7 minute walk with many restaurant choices, handicraft stalls, as well as an impressive Chedraui supermarket. Everyone we encountered was friendly, locals and tourists alike. English was widely spoken. It was easy to set up excursions and catch taxis, as needed. Some activities we enjoyed with the kids: snorkeling the reef, a half day cenote excursion, Jungala water park, and Cirq de Soleil.

Great location, great grounds, great vacation

This property is on the best stretch of beach in Puerto Morelos. It is an easy walk to town center. The grounds are beautiful with a very large pool, a very large are of private beach with just enough palm trees to give relief from the mid day sun. Multiple palapas if you want to relax outside. We are going back in February.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Property was very clean and well equipped. The manager, Cece, was very attentive and helpful. We loved that there were beach chairs in the unit. The beach was stunning!

Everything was perfect!!

Amazing property, location and owners! Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left this property exceeded our expectations! Beach was clean and clear, short and safe walk to town either by road or beach, and clean, comfortable accommodations. Looking forward to our next visit!

Puerto Morelos is always great. This condo is the perfect location. Having Cece as the manager is just a bonus! The proximity to downtown, the beach and variety of shops and restaurants is excellent. The grounds are besitiful. We hate to leave...

Best location in Puerto Morelos

POSITIVE Overall superbe location, walking distance from center Every morning cleaning service of the room was included Great pool , probably one of the biggest pool available in entire city. The entire garden are well maintained The condo had everything expected, NEGATIVE Bicycles were in mediocre condition / flat tires / broken basket still minors issues. Beach were full of seaweed . Locals were doing their best to clean it but the first 4 days the beach was unusable, still this is an overall problem in the Caribbean caused by warmer temperature and has nothing to do with the property owner.

We are Frank and Tina , the proud new owners in the beautiful Villa PlayaSol.

We have been wanting a beach side property ever since we got married 35 years ago and last November we finally did it.
We live just outside Chicago and plan to spend as much time as possible in Puerto Morelos. However, we both still work and don’t really have too much time so we decided to rent our Condo when we are not there.

We hope you like Puerto Morelos and PlayaSol and hope you will consider spending your vacation in our condo the next time you visit. We also would love to hear from you any comments or suggestions on how we can make your potential stay more fun and enjoyable.
