Bright and private basement in the North End

Welcome to your North End hideaway. With lots of natural light, exceptional furnishings and central location, this basement unit has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay while in Halifax.

You’ll be staying in the contained basement apartment in my home. After going down 1 set of stairs to enter the unit, you’ll be welcomed into the living room, full bathroom, kitchenette and the bedroom.

Using the keypad for entry, you’ll enter through the back door of my house which will serve as your own private entrance, During your stay, you’ll have access to the entire basement aside from the locked utility room. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the back deck and feel free to explore the garden.

I had a wonderful stay. The coffee station was a great touch — a Keurig with both dark and light roast pods, plus cream and sugar provided. The space has so much natural light and felt very private.I slept really well — the mattress was extremely comfortable and the bedding was soft and cozy. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked with high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with thoughtful extras like Q-tips and cotton pads.There was a bit of noise transfer from footsteps above during the day, but it was never an issue at night or bothersome overall.Abby was friendly, responsive, and available whenever I needed anything. The location was perfect — right beside a Sobeys, drugstore, and liquor store, and I could easily walk everywhere I wanted to go. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is such a central part of the city and it still feels totally quaint and chill. Located behind a grocery store, the convenience is bar none. Walk 10 mins in any direction and you hit some of the best food and shops Halifax has to offer.
