Jump in the pool and enjoy the view!Enjoy relaxing on the large deck overlooking the vineyards for miles enjoying a cup of complementary coffee!The home offers laundry machines, wine fridge and a gorgeous, modern kitchen including granite counters and stainless steel appliances, complete with all your needs! Enjoy your favorite shows on Direct Stream TV. Gas grill on the deck. Just minutes away are wineries such as Stillwaters Sarzotti, Hidden Oak and more! Special occasion? Let us know! We love adding personal touches to make it extra special! We have existing animals on the property which could become a problem with service animals. Thank you for your cooperation. We feel the property is a perfect getaway for adults but due to the steep stairs inside the house and unfenced pool, children must be 12yrs or older.

Amazing views!

We had such a lovely time at this remote rental near Paso Robles. Charming place with a great deck and fantastic views! Would have been nice to have the pool to ourselves (the owners live on site), and we would have preferred a coffee maker instead of a keurig, but overall it was just lovely.

All We Had Hoped For...!

What a treat it was to stay in this beautiful guest cottage. The panoramic views were even more spectacular than pictured and the quiet of being off the beaten path was wonderful! Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer to be able to enjoy the pool! The house itself was very cozy and well appointed...we hope to stay here again on a trip down to the Paso area!

This location appears to be in the country. It is...in the middle of the vineyards, but within 5 to 20 minutes of all the wineries. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and English muffins for breakfast, a bottle of bubbly and a cheesecake. The inside is lovely and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and sitting out on the deck eating dinner and enjoying our wine! I have never stayed in a more welcoming and clean VRBO. I would stay here again in a minute! Thanks again for the wonderful food and the fresh flowers!

wedding weekend bliss

What an amazing place. The views-spectacular. The hospitality-beautiful. We had an amazing weekend after our wedding. We had family visit from out of state and the house was perfect for visiting. We loved everything about it. I have never felt more comfortable being away from home. The special touches made us feel so warm and fuzzyl. Thank you so much for everything. The wedding gift basket was a wonderful surprise.

Beautiful place to get away from it all!

We had a wonderful time at Croom's Ranch. Kathy was so accommodating. This place is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen is spacious and great for cooking in. The pool is a stunning infinity pool. The deck attached to the family room is spacious and has a beautiful view overlooking the vineyards. We made a bunch of plans, but found ourselves not wanting to leave the ranch. When we did, we found that the local wineries were just as gorgeous and fun as those that were located in Paso Robles. Great location for visiting the coast and Paso Robles. I am a pretty critical person when it comes to vacation rentals, and I would definitely give this place 5 stars and visit again. Thank you Kathy!

A peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Crooms Moonlight Ranch was the perfect place for our recent girls weekend in the Paso Robles area. Kathy our host was so kind and accommodating from the moment we first booked until the morning we left. The house was stocked with everything we could need. The only thing we needed to bring was clothes and food which we picked up at the Trader Joe's in Templeton. Although, we didn't need eggs as our host provided them fresh from the ranch and they were delicious! The house had plenty of room for the three of us and never felt cramped. We really enjoyed the large deck located directly off of the family room area. We enjoyed exploring the wine region and had two fantastic wine tasting experiences one at Chronic Cellars and a great tour at Adelaida Cellars. After our days exploring the area the ranch was a perfect place to return to and enjoy an afternoon by the pool. Crooms Moonlight Ranch was exactly what the three of us were looking for to relax and reconnect. We look forward to staying there again sometime!

Family had a great time! Beautiful property, surrounded with amazing views!

Our family of 4 had a great time staying at Kathy's place (Aug, 9-11, 2017). We were thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of this stay, from beginning to end. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks Kathy for the wonderful hospitality at your lovely place. Our family enjoyed the property; from the inside of the house, to the pool, and including the outdoor deck. We saw about 5 falling stars! :) It was great meeting your dog, Marley, as well. I want my own Marley now. I wish I could have asked you for the name of the breed. Gorgeous property with views for days.

So peaceful to be in a place that was so close to home but felt like such a getaway. We wanted to stay longer. Kathy and her husband made us feel so welcome it was like a home away from home. Our family made the most amazing memories and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable get away!

My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The outside deck was our favorite part. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. The host went out of her way to put fresh flowers throughout and surprised us with an anniversary treat. It was a little out of the way, but that's what we were looking for. It was very relaxing and great wineries nearby. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, beautiful weekend.

A Perfect Wine Country Get-Away

We came from San Francisco to meet friends from L.A. for a few days of wine tasting and enjoying the beautiful country around Paso Robles. The Croom's Moonlight Ranch house was the perfect retreat for us! We were greeted warmly by Kathy, her husband and their gentle boxer Marley. The house was much bigger than we had expected with a large deck overlooking the vineyards where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and enjoying the myriad of treats Kathy so generously left for us; homemade monkey bread (!!!) eggs, english muffins, orange juice and more. It was also a great place to hang out in the evenings under a sky of stars. The charming town of Templeton is about a 10 minute drive, with restaurants and cafes. The small infinity pool is a bonus, although with the cool temperatures in the morning and evening and so many places to explore during the day, we hardly had time to enjoy it--another time!

This is Why I Don't Stay in Hotels.....

Croom's Moonlight Ranch is such a phenomenal property all around! My wife and I, along with our two kids(3 and 3 mos), just spent four nights at the ranch and had one of our most memorable trips. The guest house was completely immaculate and literally has everything you need, from entertainment to cooking utensils. Talk about views, wow! From the huge deck you can see for miles and miles on all directions. We spent every afternoon enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of the area. Our host, Kathy, is a sweetheart and so personable. I can't say enough about the entire experience here, except for we all wished we could have just stayed there....permanently! No joke! Thank you, and we can't wait to visit again!

Fantastic Paso Weekend

This was a perfect place to stay for the weekend with four adults just out to get away. The views are amazing, the guest home very comfortable with all the kitchen gadgets you need to stay in if you choose to not go out. The deck is perfect and secluded enough to get a fantastic night sky for star gazing. Bring your telescope - you won't be sorry you did! We are looking forward to coming back and will definitely stay here if available.

Amazing Ranch!

Awesome wine country retreat!

What a lovely location and property to stay! Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, and the view off the back deck is spectacular. Owners allow use of their infinity pool which is also a lovely touch. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Paso Robles!

Anniversary Getaway

Only a few days to sneak away for a quick anniversary weekend, so the Paso area was a nice break from the SF Bay Area. The "ranch" was about 10 minutes outside Templeton in the beautiful rolling hills with fantastic views. Our host, Kathy, was waiting for us when we arrived and made us feel right at home. Their property is amazing, very modern and clean, with all the necessary amenities. Kathy was very thoughtful and had roses, a small cake, sparkling wine and an anniversary card waiting for us in the suite. There was so much to do we just couldn't squeeze it all in on this visit, but we will be back and hopefully Crooms Moonlight Ranch will be available. Trip highlights: wine tasting (don't miss Turley, Thacher, Lone Madrone, Calcareous), dining (McPhee's Grill), running in the morning (the surrounding countryside is perfect for running or road biking), the Infinity-edge pool, and the sunsets. Once again, VRBO hooked us up with another awesome vacation.

The owners were very helpful and accommodating! They made the stay so stress free and enjoyable! The pictures on the website are exactly what was offered. Although the scenery is much more stunning in person. Very clean place and quiet which was perfect. Morro Bay is not that far away and made for a great day trip to the beach :) I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Property

Why they chose this property

This property sold itself to us with its never ending picturesque views and the charming character of a once active almond orchard.

What makes this property unique

In the past few years vineyards have sprouted up and surrounded us, there is no better place than this! We will gladly send you off in the right direction for wine tasting and weekend fun if you desire to leave the property at all! We are centrally located just minutes from anything you may desire. We have the small historic town of Templeton to the west, walk back in time with a stroll down Main Street. Paso Robles is just to the north with all of its unique boutiques, restaurants, wineries and a large event almost every weekend.
