A one bedroomed self contained apartment in host’s garden.
Pros: The apartment itself was lovely. It was of a good size, very clean and full of light with modern furnishings. The bedroom was large with plenty of space. It is worth noting that the bathroom is en-suite. It is situated on the outskirts of Tias in a cul-de-sac with on road parking. It has a small private terrace with partial sea views and It is a 12 minute walk to the shops and small number of bars and restaurants. Juan was a friendly host but he doesn’t speak English and my Spanish is limited so communications weren’t as good as they might have been, leading to a bit of a mix up when we first arrived.
Cons: The outside space was disappointing. A main road runs down the side of the house and is visible from the terrace, and the noise of the traffic could be heard. The outdoor covered space with barbecue did not look as if it had been used in a while or prepared for guests and we were not shown around it when we arrived.
