This was our half way point, and planned to do laundry... but but the washer/dryer is tiny and ineffective. Had some trouble with ac not workin right and a leak, but generally this cabin was great!

Our Desire Was Not Fulfilled

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful ambiance, good location. It was quiet and had all the desired amenities. Amenities however were showing wear and tear. What stood out in particular was the infestation of carpenter ants. There is water intrusion somewhere that has given them a habitat. It cannot be chalked off to casual or natural occurrence. I killed approximately 80 per day of our visit and shared photos and emails with Elks Springs. I will not be using Elk Springs moving forward as my input outside of my request for an exterminator was dismissed. An exterminator cannot fix this problem. The owner will have to invest in repairs or force you to continue sweeping the issue under the rug.

Stress free vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were blown away when we walked in. It was gorgeous. A few things that took me by surprise: the jetted tub was spotless (you won’t find this at a hotel), all of the dishes were clean (I didn’t have to wash them before I ate on them!) and the hot tub was surprisingly clean! A few things I didn’t like: the crevices in the wooden bed frame were very dusty. Grossed me out. Also after using the hot tub I didn’t know how to turn the jets off and I got very stressed about it and it caused me to stay awake until 1am. Only to find out the jets are just on an automatic timer and they shut off on their own. I wish there was a sign that had said this so I could relax. I thought I had broken it!

We enjoyed our stayed, excellent communication with the host, it was clean, location was amazing! Beautiful cabin. I gave it 4 start because the TV are very old and had lots of statics. The fireplace in the pool area never worked. The main issue we had is that the sofa bed is on the entry level right in front of tbe main entrance, it will be better in the lower floor closer to the bathroom it was uncomfortable to sleep in front of the entrance and lastly there is not enough sitting place to be all together.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay in our cabin in the woods. It snowed while we were there and the location of the cabin on the mountain wad ideal to enjoy the snow falling.
