This property was immaculate and even more beautiful than the photos. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed to prepare meals for 8 adults for a week. The host was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Most well stocked house ever. Everything went incredibly smoothly. The house, if you can believe it, is even better than the description and pictures show. It was hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed. Private, killer view, incredible comfort, and a a very accommodating host. Being able to bring our dog was just the icing on the cake!!!

The house and yard were perfect for our group. 6 adults, 2 active kids and 2 dogs all got what they needed at this spot! The outdoor space was beautiful and the house had every amenity you could think of! Communication was quick and easy. My only suggestion (if you’re like my family) is to grab extra wood for the fire pit, but if you need to get some, it’s less than 5 minutes from the house. We had a great weekend and would definitely come back.

I love traveling and exploring new places, which is part of what inspired me to become a host. I enjoy long walks in nature with our boxer, Cleopatra, and truly appreciate peaceful outdoor settings. Sharing a beautiful lakefront space where others can relax and reconnect with nature brings me so much joy.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The scene here is peaceful and naturally beautiful, with calm waters and changing colors throughout the seasons at Shalcamp Pond. Mornings bring soft sunrises over the lake, and evenings are perfect for quiet walks, fires by the water, and listening to nature. What I enjoy most about the area is the sense of calm and privacy you feel in Gilmanton — it’s the perfect balance of relaxation, outdoor adventure, and year-round beauty.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What truly sets our property apart is the privacy. We’re located at the end of a quiet dead-end road on Shalcamp Pond, on a side of the lake where there are very few neighboring homes nearby. It feels secluded and peaceful, giving you space to truly unwind.
