This home included a privacy fenced yard with a newly build deck to lounge on after a day of exploring this beautiful city. Our vintage stucco home in center of Bismarck making a walk to hospital less than 5mins away and easy location to walk to down town restaurants, activities near by and bars. concerns regarding my recent stay. Upon arrival, the home was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There were large bags of dirty linens in the closet, visible grime and buildup in multiple areas, and I had to clean portions of the home myself before feeling comfortable staying.When I brought these concerns to the host’s attention, the response was dismissive and defensive. Rather than addressing the cleanliness issues, the host repeatedly implied I was attempting to obtain a refund, which was not the case. I simply wanted the property to meet basic standards of cleanliness.Throughout the stay, I was provided inconsistent information, and I believe I was misled on multiple occasions regarding the condition of the property and prior cleaning.Most concerning, the host stated she would attempt to have me banned from VRBO for bringing these concerns forward. I found this threatening and inappropriate. I have documentation and photographs supporting the condition of the property and my communications.

I want to again apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. This is the first time a situation has occurred like this on any of the platforms we are on. As discussed, I offered you a refund for the remaining nights of your reservation if you chose to secure alternative accommodations. You declined that option and stated you were comfortable staying, although you continued to report concerns throughout the weekend. I reiterated that the offer remained available if you were unhappy, as I did not want you to feel obligated to stay. I do employ a professional cleaning service, and I personally complete a walkthrough prior to each guest’s arrival. The concerns you mentioned regarding plasticware on the floors and counters were not present during my walkthrough, which took place approximately two hours before your arrival. Additionally, you reported broken and bent blinds; however, this was not accurate, and photos were submitted to VRBO to clarify that claim. At no point did I state that I could have you banned from VRBO, as that is not not within my control or believe that is an option. I did inform you that I contacted VRBO regarding the situation because I was concerned about receiving a negative review, and they advised me they would make note of the communication. I genuinely attempted to provide a resolution by offering an early departure with a refund, but that option was declined. Regardless, I am truly sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. The photos you shared have been forwarded to the cleaning team to ensure any concerns are addressed and do not occur in the future. I wish you all the best moving forward.

Property matched the description of the listing. Over all good experience with our stay & look forward to coming back in two weeks. Wish the property had a microwave as I brought several meals we were unable to eat as there was no way to warm them up.
