Discover Turtle House, a recently remodeled vintage 3-bedroom home tucked into a quiet East End residential neighborhood. Just 2 blocks from Poretto Beach and the Seawall, and only a few more blocks to the Pleasure Pier, this location is ideal for enjoying Galveston’s beaches, festivals, and historic charm. 13 Blocks (0.7 miles from the The Strand).

The home sleeps comfortably with a king bedroom,a queen bedroom, and a fun bunk room featuring a double bed on the bottom and twin on top. The queen bedroom is privately located at the back of the house and includes its own separate heating and cooling system. Please note age policy for children.

Enclosed shaded backyard. Front yard is a natural landscaped wildflower yard with a comfortable porch.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for easy meals at home, with ample dishware, a convection oven, air fryer, coffee and tea cart, and large dining table seats six, perfect for shared meals and game nights. Wifi available. No Television.

Comfortable touches throughout include high ceilings with ceiling fans in every room, a reclining leather loveseat, and a relaxed island feel. Step onto the front porch to enjoy ocean breezes in the fenced yard. The original 1900s wood bathroom, updated with a tub and shower, adds a touch of Galveston nostalgia.

Convenient to the Strand, restaurants, and major island festivals — Turtle House is a place to slow down, unwind, and make lasting memories.

Ah, Turtle House! Such a gorgeous retreat from the busyness of the every day.This lovely cottage, lovingly decorated in the antithesis of “mass produced” decor and complete with thoughtful extras, a weekend here is a respite from the rush and noise.Just 2 blocks from the beach for the nature lover, 2 blocks to the Lucine for the live music/rooftop bar lover, and just blocks away from great local restaurants for the foodie, there’s something for everyone.It’s a space for reflection, connection, and peace. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We loved everything about this property. The location is fantastic- a quick walk to be beach or 3 minute drive to anywhere. Such thoughtful decorations. Extremely clean. I did not want to get out of the comfortable reclining couches with phone chargers. The kitchen is huge with everything you could need. Everything required for a cup of coffee or hot tea is already there. Mattresses are so comfy. I love that the bathroom had a tub instead of just a shower. Hanging out on the front porch is a must, and the neighbors are so friendly. The naturally landscaped yard was full of wildflowers in bloom. Some B&Bs focus so heavily on jamming in as many beds as possible - this one has plenty of space to just exist and “be”. The hostess was super flexible and accommodating with anything that we needed. She was easy to get a hold of - I never had to wait for a response, and I never got the feeling that she was bothered by our communication. We were in town for a music festival and didn’t get to spend as much time inside of the cottage as we’d like. I look forward to returning and staying here again with a more relaxed schedule.

Very family friendly and welcoming home. Deborah was amazing and went over and beyond with personal touches to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect and walking distance from the beach and all the happenings on Seawall. Would definitely book again!

I’m sorry you were disappointed there wasn’t a TV, which is indicated on the listing amenities. Thank you for pointing out you would like the A/C temperature set lower on arrival as 74 wasn’t suitable. I’ll lower for future guests.
