It felt unsafe. There were 3 police cars on the corner nearby, and residents outside talking to officers. We left and did not sray.

We apologize that you felt unsafe. This home is only about a block from the beach and a couple from the pleasure pier. The area is sometimes monitored by police due to parking for the pier, etc.

The home was in a great location. Close to the beach and restaurants. The down side was that the AC did not work very well and the home stayed warm. Also the thermostat was able to be controlled remotely and one day we returned from being out and it had been turned up to 75 and the home was 76 degrees. There were many repairs that need to be done to the home. Overall I would give the home 3 stars.

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to share your experience. After speaking to you about the thermostat and assessing the problem- it seemed that there had been a schedule set on the thermostat settings that was causing the temperature to adjust. the schedule was removed and is now working properly. We sincerely apologize for this issue encountered during your stay.

Great location, splash pad and dog park across street and we utilized both. Well stocked kitchen for cooking family meals. Great communication with property management.Only concern was a/c did not keep up very well, during warm part of day and when cooking in kitchen. Even with this we would probably book again.

Sabadeco rental home

We enjoyed our time in Galveston, and we also enjoyed staying at this home on our visit. There were a few minor inconveniences and maintenance issues, but overall, we did like the house and its location to the Seawall area.

There was a large water bug in the bedroom that my husband had to kill. Understandable since it’s by the water. The house was very very hot and took forever to cool down. All the amenities were nice to have (washer/dryer/kitchen). The walls need to be repainted, it looks very worn, and there are tears all over the paint. The couch small couch had a tear on the cushion, making it look old. It could have been a much nicer place to stay if the upkeep of the house was better. I wouldn’t stay there again, the hotels in the area are much cheaper.
