There is a gate from the condo gallery (patio) directly onto the beach.
Strap on your snorkel gear and head into the water.
The snorkeling is great at our artificial reef just a short swim away from the beach.
We even provide the snorkel gear !

The gallery is comfortably furnished for evening relaxation and al fresco dining.
This large outdoor living area has an unobstructed ocean view.
Inside, you will find 2 comfortable bedrooms with a/c.
Two bathrooms, each with shower/1 with tub are stocked with plenty of towels, soap and shampoo.
The full kitchen has plenty of dishware, glasses and utensils and all major appliances including microwave and a blender to try out some frozen drink recipes.
A bottle of our famous Cruzan Rum awaits you.
The spacious living room has cable TV,DVD player with extensive movie library,X box with games,a landline telephone for local calls, FREE WiFi and a hard wired connection for the working vacationer.

Colony Cove is a gated, security patrolled complex located close to Christiansted for dining, shopping and sight seeing.
It has a fresh water pool with plenty of deck space, gas grills, tennis courts and direct beach access. There are 2 restaurant/bars within walking distance and 2 grocery stores that are a short drive.
A rental car is not a necessity but is recommended.

We acquired this property in 2011 as a stepping stone onto the island. We purchased it 'site unseen', packed up our belongings, pets and business and were not disappointed in the least. Our plan was to live in the condo while building our business, then to buy a house and vacation rent the condo.
We have been fortunate enough to realize that dream.
We are still on island with no intention of ever leaving this tropical paradise.We now have a house near North Shore and can share our beach side condo with you:)

Colony Cove is a beach side gated complex with pool, grills and tennis courts. All units have a least a partial ocean view. 'D' building is directly on the beach. Our unit is not only in the coveted 'D' building, but is ground floor with beach access from the unit. It is also at the private end and closest to Teddy's restaurant.
The gate to Teddy's is just out the front door to the right, or walk out back and take the beach route:)

What a beautiful place. There are just two of us but I believe this condo could handle 6 people easily. It appeared to have many new updates such as bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. We love to cook so the large kitchen was appreciated. It was real nice to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the unit. The patio is the real feature here. Viewing beautiful sunsets and Christiansted at night is very relaxing. It is a short 25 feet to the waters edge. We love to snorkle, so all we needed to do was carry our snorkle gear a few steps down to some fun snorkling. The on grounds pool is beautiful and typically empty of people while we were here. Earl is a fabulous host and he makes it real easy to check-in and check-out. I would recomend this condo to anyone wishing to spend some time on St Croix!
We had a nice time at the condo. It was well equipped, clean, and good A/C in the bedrooms. It was very affordable and was a good place to take our 2 high school aged kids. Earl was so great to take care of any little thing we needed and was very prompt if we had to reach out to him. Our ONLY complaint was the sand was so rough and not at all like the sand of the beaches of the Caribbean that we are used to. That was disappointing since we thought we would be able to walk out the back door and be on a nice beach. We rented a car and visited many other beaches so it was not that big of a deal, just not what we expected. This is an affordable place in a good location - I would recommend it to others.
The condo could use some updating for my personal taste. However, the owner is fair, honest and gives impeccable customer service!! When we arrived on this little island, only to find our condo was 'double booked' (by another owner NOT this one!), Earl saved the day by opening his condo up to us. Once we were settled in, he suggested some great points of interest around the island for us to tour! We had an A/c go out in one of the bedrooms and Earl had it replaced within hours of our notifying him. The condo is centrally located 5 minutes from Christiansted and about 20 minutes to Fredericksted. You will be staying right on the water and we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise over Buck Island every morning with our coffee and there's a constant breeze blowing. Snorkel out your back door to find conch and see lots of fish. Enjoy great star gazing right out your back patio at night. The complex is gated with hands-on guards who walk the grounds and get to know the residents/renters. Very secure as we left our trunk wide open over night with not a thing disturbed.
The condos view and location were great. Went on off season and we had the beach and pool to ourselves!! The condos are gated with security guard. The condo had everything you need, but does need a little tlc. Would recommend this condo for the million dollar views. If you are looking for a picture perfect place inside and out, you probably need to go to the buccaneer and pay 4 times as much as this condo. So to sum it up for the price, view, location, and old island feel i would recomend toes in the sand.
Earl's place was in a nice location and had such easy access to the Carribbean Sea. The view was breathtaking and it was only a short drive to Christiansted. As far as the apartment goes, it was well equipped with everything needed. The breeze was wonderful coming into the kitchen and living area. The other end where the bedrooms and bathrooms were located was alittle stuffy without the air conditioner running. Having mold/mildew allergies made it uncomfortable for me. Some updating in the bathroom with ventilation would make a huge improvement. If you don't suffer from allergies then this is a great place to stay.
My wife and I stayed at Toes in the Sand for 11 nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This was our first visit to St. Croix, and we found the location to be just about perfect...only a few minutes from Christiansted, Food Town grocery store just a minute or two away, and two restaurants within walking distance. The unit itself was very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of linens & towels, cable TV and Wi-Fi. We ate every meal at the table in the gallery enjoying the view, and that million dollar breeze kept the kitchen & living area quite comfortable. We did have to run the A/C every night, as the master bedroom & bath were somewhat stuffy, but overall quite comfortable. The bedrooms & bathrooms could stand a little sprucing up, but we found the place to be clean and equipped just as it is described.
Earl checked in with us the first day to introduce himself, and made sure we had his contact info in case we needed anything. He was extremely accommodating, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Very friendly community. Loved the view and the condo was very comfortable . Dealing with Earl was a ease. He has great communication and was a pleasure to deal with. I have visited St.Croix many times this was a wonderful place to stay. The pool is beautiful the view is beautiful I highly recommend it.
