This was an absolutely amazing stay. Everything was exactly as described. The check in process was incredibly easy, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked exceptionally well which made cooking a joy. The screened in porch was a lovely bonus. The grounds were immaculately kept, and we enjoyed the pool and beach. It was quiet and calm. It is close to Cane Bay Beach, but a car is ideal to get around.

Family vacation

June2025-this property was perfect for our family. I was looking for a quiet getaway and Gentle Winds was a great location. We played pickleball, corn hole, shuffleboard and ping pong. The snack shack was fantastic. The pool was refreshing and clean. The condo was great.

A relaxing, carefree vacation spot

Ideal St Croix vacation condo

There are so many little details that the owners have anticipated and provided, and they were incredibly gracious and provided excellent local advice. There is no room for improvement on this rental - everything is just right. Highest recommendation. Thanks for the best possible stay.

Best vacation

So relaxing - island time is real and fabulous. Patrick’s place was exactly as described and even more beautiful. The condo complex was quiet and never busy. Everyone we met was friendly. Had a great time swimming, snorkeling, sunning, eating and drinking at the hut. Patrick was easy and prompt to communicate with. Hope to be able to stay here again. (We did have a two year old with us and the accommodations were suitable for her as well and she lived her best lift all week)

Amazing property!

This property is amazing & exactly as pictured! The hosts literally thought of everything & were very accommodating! Sheets, bath towels, beach towels were provided as well as availability of beach chairs, sunscreen, condiments, coffee filters, toilet paper, everything for our convenience! Thanks so much Patrick, Pam & Hyacinth for your unmatched hospitality!

Absolutely amazing

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Couldn't have stayed in a nicer condo. Very clean, comfy and well laid out. Loved the beach shack as well. The O'Neills were wonderful hosts!! Will definitely stay here again!

Best Host!

Patrick went above and beyond to make our trip to St. Croix amazing. The information he provided was thorough and made our stay easy to navigate. Gentle Winds perfection

Gentle Winds has everything you could want in a beach vacation! The property is on an expansive, private beach with plenty of chairs and shelters. A large pool is right next to the beach with a snack shack full of delicious food and full bar. The clubhouse has activities available such as ping pong, shuffleboard, cornhole, and more. Our unit was clean, comfortable, and thoroughly updated and renovated. The owner Patrick provided ample instructions and tips for the best stay possible. He was always prompt and kind with any questions. Our family had a lovely vacation!

Amazing!

This property was perfect for our family of 5. Patrick and his team were amazing to communicate with. The views, pool, and beach were gorgeous. The green space in front of the unit was perfect for playing football. Inside, the unit had everything needed for a great family vacation, even beach chairs and board games! Patrick, thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! We are already looking forward to returning in the future!

Slice of Paradise!

Our stay at Patrick’s condo was incredible!! Our family chose St. Criox for spring break this year and the trip included myself, my husband, my parents and our two young children. The condo had everything we needed for our stay - four comfy beds, plenty of towels, paper products, cooking supplies, spices, dishes, pans, etc. The condo had so much space and was well laid out for family use. The views were the absolute best!! Gentle winds as a condominium was also top notch! The pool, ocean, beach, beach shack, little pavilion was all more than we’d hoped for. The communication from Patrick before and during the trip was great & the care taker Hyacinth called to make sure we got in okay and let us know she was available for anything we needed. Our stay was flawless but she made sure to call the night before we checked out to ensure that process was also seamless. All around great communication and a wonderful stay. We will most certainly visit again!!

Beautiful Condo and Location

We had a fantastic stay. The condo is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are lovely. The pool is huge and deep. The deep end is 10 feet deep. The beach is wonderful. The one drawback is that its a bit rocky. We loved the amenities, they had all the dishes you could ask for, and even had spices and a few little extra early trip comforts.

Home away from home

Great place to relax and unwind. Took our family of five (three kids). We all loved it, and would definitely consider going back. Great communication from the owners leading up to, and during the week (when needed). Very clean and updated unit.

Perfect spot for multiple family vacation.

We were a group of 27 traveling in from multiple states. Although many of us had travel issues, once we arrived we had an amazing time! Having our own “home bases” but also having the pool, beach, and shack for food and drinks, (and just a group gathering spot) was so convenient. Patrick’s condo C-6 was more than we needed for my husband and I and our 2 adult kids. Patrick was very responsive and helpful prior to our trip and an amazing host! We will definitely be back!

Amazing vacation

The place was perfect for our family vacation! The property had everything we needed; pool, beach, bar with food (open in the afternoon), and a beautiful, clean, comfortable spacious condo for the 6 of us, all at a very reasonable price. It's located conveniently between the two towns, near tourist attractions and many nice beaches (Cane Bay is a MUST! Great beach with restaurant/bar across the street, awesome snorkeling off the beach and many turtles just hanging out in the crystal clear water. Both kids and adults loved it). The owners/hosts are incredible! They've though of every detail and go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. I've stayed in many VRBO's, and this was by far the best for many reasons. Prior to arrival, Patrick sent us a packet of information with places to eat and recommended things to do so we could plan ahead. He was very responsive to text messages if we had any questions. On arrival they had cold water, beer/wine, a "pay it forward" bar waiting for us in addition to many incidentals for the full stay like toilet paper, sunscreen, paper towels, soap, spices, some beach supplies, etc. It wasn't just the standard single starter roll of TP or paper towels, rather they stocked us for the full week! This was super convenient as we arrived late and didn't have to run to the store right away. Note; groceries and food are very expensive on the island. I can't say enough good things about this place and the owners. We will definitely be back there

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet, secluded, beachside condo. Everything was as promised and Hy was attentive to our needs. If you are looking for a place away from the crowds of most all inclusives, you will love Gentle Winds.

Amazing stay!!

Our party of 6 had an amazing stay. Everything was just as described. Fully stocked and equipped! Plenty of room for everyone. The grounds were well kept and the pool and beach areas were perfect. Nick was amazing at the beach bar and the food was some of best we had. Patrick was super quick to respond with helpful tips and any questions we had and Hyacinth checked in on us regularly. Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous views and excellent customer service

My wife has been involved in the traveled industry for over 25 years and hands down one of the best experiences and customer service ever shown. We usually stay at houses so we were a bit skeptical but it exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous setting, excellent snorkeling and wonderful service from Nick at the Shady Shack on the grounds.

Amazing vacation

We had the best time in St Croix. We have stayed at Gentle Winds for many years and C6 was one of the best condos. The views of the ocean and beyond were fantastic. Patrick and Hyacinth were very attentive to us as guests. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved eating at the beach shack and hanging on the beach most days. Catamaran trip to Buck Island was so beautiful. I highly recommend this condo at Gentle Winds. Thank you Patrick and Hyacinth!

Gentle winds equals beautiful vacation

Came to the islands with a friend to celebrate my birthday. It was a beautiful unit decorated well and fully stocked with everything you could need. The honors bar closet was an exceptional treat which we restocked at the end of the stay. The beach and pool were great. Hyacinth was attentive and friendly. I was getting a flat tire and was helped with one of the maintenance men. Patrick’s recommendations were spot on. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

We love St Croix! We honeymooned here in 1984 and have been to the island every year since 1991. We were fortunate enough to purchase our Caribbean Paradise condo in 1999. Our family loves Gentle Winds and three of our children have honeymooned here as well.
