Perfect island getaway!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful spring break on St. Croix and this condo was the perfect homebase for all of our adventures. Better than the photos, great location and beautiful setting! We will be back!

We enjoyed everything about staying at Colony Cove. This unit is the nicest we have rented in our three years of visiting the island. We especially liked the comfortable furniture on the balcony. We liked this unit so much we booked it agin for next year before we left the island.

Living the good life!

This condo was perfect. The owners definitely paid attention to details. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon! You will not be disappointed staying here. The on island property manager, Earl, was fantastic and only a phone call away.

The perfect getaway

Amazing balcony view of the condos garden and the beach. This place was perfect for us. Felt like home away from home from the first step inside. We immediately extended our stay. The place is fully stocked with all sorts of essentials like cooking stuff, spices, plates, bowls, cups. Even other essentials like a large amount of towels, Snorkeling gear, life vests for the kids, sun screen, sun burn aloe and a bunch of board games, even a Nintendo Wii! The beds were comfortable and the ACs did their job well! And it even has a washer and dryer to help clean your clothes for when you're ready to leave (which you won't want to) And it's all conveniently located 5-10 minute drive to the Christansted board walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend and come back!

Self check in was easy with great pre arrival instructions. Clean quiet condo with obvious attention to the “extras.” Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. There is snorkeling equipment, pool toys, beach towels, life vests for little ones, beach bags, chairs, and coolers so it was extra easy to have a day at the beach. View from the balcony is a bit obscured compared to what we thought we were getting, but beautiful nonetheless. The neighbors in the complex are extremely nice and welcoming. The pool area and beach behind the property is nice and well maintained. We got to know many of the neighbors cooking out at the grill since we unfortunately didn’t have power for 3 days following Tropical Storm Ernesto. Everyone was more than happy to share food, drinks and the only working power outlet! The only criticism is we arrived to a small amount of toilet paper or paper towels with no reserves, so we ended up going out to purchase those. Really a great place and we would stay here again next time we visit the island!

Beautiful home, great location!

We were thrilled with our stay in this beautiful condo. The inside is absolutely beautiful, updated and well appointed. The air conditioning is actually top notch; in fact, we got a little cold initially! The furniture is super comfortable, the bed is great, and we felt super safe. The owners are very communicative and helpful and had a great guest book with lots of good suggestions. A few things to know: The beach - if you are looking for white sand beaches...not here, BUT the beach is really nice and you can tell maintenance does a great job of keeping it very clean and seaweed free. I did a little snorkeling and saw plenty of life, which as a diver, made me very happy. The location - for us, this was perfectly located. Easy drives to F-sted, the mid island area, and Point Udall. Super close to C-sted, plenty of options for food and groceries. We did rent a car which allowed us lots of freedom. We felt very safe and appreciated the gated community. Thank you for a wonderful stay that truly felt like home.

Fantastic condo, great for our family of four. Really appreciated all the surprise amenities that made our trip so much easier!! Enjoyed the central location and extremely responsive communication. Very glad for the recommendation to grab a rental car. Our first time on this island and it did not disappoint!!

A well located, large condo with a good view of the sea. Would be nice to have some large beach towels; otherwise, the condo was very well furnished, with a full well-equipped kitchen. However bring Keurig K-cups, as no store had them in stock! Not much of a beachfront for this condo complex, but the pool area was nice. We had some problems with the pedestrian gate until we learned that the code was not the same as used elsewhere. The Coral Sea restaurant next door was convenient and had good food and great cocktails on days it was open. We did not have a card, so we walked twice ~0.5 miles to the Five Corners area, where there is a large supermarket and family dollar store, and walked into Christiansted a couple of times (1.5 miles) for sightseeing, meals, shopping and a great food tour, as well as to Gallows Bay for some great Mexican food.

St Croix delight

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for getting around the island and the condo itself has been updated wonderfully. We spent most of our time out on the beautiful lanai. Beds were extremely comfortable. Thanks for hosting us and we will certainly return.

Condo is a 3rd floor unit. Was as described. Everything seemed to be in working order. Nice view of ocean. Great outdoor balcony space. Very well equipped. They have a keurig as well as traditional coffee maker. Having washer&dryer in unit nice. Access to ocean was very nice. Beach area great- so many conch shells. My adult son thought the twin beds were a little small but overall unit was comfortable. We did not cook in unit but kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans, dish ware, serving bowls, crock pot, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. Lots of beach towels, floats, beach chairs and games. This was my 4th trip to STX and for the price there is no place better. Property manager was very quick to respond. I would stay here again. Bar/restaurant next door was convenient. Food was good for hamburgers, salads & wraps.

We really enjoyed the location of Colony Cove. While we were there during Christmas Wind season (so we couldn’t use the beach due to riptides), the views from the balcony or sitting out by the beach were just beautiful. Great view of Buck Island. Can get anywhere in 30 minutes. We were able to tour the entire island during our short stay. The people living there are so very nice. I would definitely stay at this property again. Condo had everything we needed. Plenty of linens, kitchen items, AC worked great (we only used it at night as the breeze was enough if we opened the balcony door), parking was available right next to the stairs to the unit. We had a great time!

Great First Stay St. Croix

We came for our daughter’s family senior trip. We loved the island. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everything was in good working order. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. The guest book had lots of great information which was very helpful. We appreciated the snorkeling gear that was available. I read 2 of the Elin Hilderbrand books in her paradise series that were on the entertainment center. They were perfect for a USVI vacation! Overall, great stay, and would book again.

Great location

Place was great! Clean and had all necessities. Perfect distance between east and west points of St Croix. The only downside was the pool was not open. They were doing work on it which was of no fault of the owners of the condo. I definitely would stay again! Thank you! The guest book had lots of info on things to do and places to shop etc. which really helped as it was the first time to St Croix.

Nice property

Perfect for us and our 2 adult children… condo was comfortable and clean and had beach chairs, coolers and beach towels which was very nice to have these extras! Close drive to town and supermarkets with a great porch and views to hang out on! The only disappointment was the pool area was closed the whole time we were there.

Relaxing and beautiful location

This condo exceeded our expectations. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed to feel at home. It was hard to find breakfast or brunch places so we cooked breakfast every morning. The pool area was so nice and felt really private. The beach was beautiful and seeing the conch shells wash up every morning was my highlight of the beach. The beach isn’t great for swimming so definitely explore the island for other places but it was so relaxing. The staff was so friendly and kept the grounds beautiful. We met several of the neighbors who live there full time and they were delightful. We felt like we actually lived there for a week. The house is stocked with beach towels, floaties, snorkel gear, etc and the condo is beautifully decorated. We sat on the very large porch every morning and had a beautiful view of the water. We would go back in a heartbeat. The only thing I would suggest is to get a better knife set. They were flimsy and dull and I cut myself when trying to cut a pineapple. Easy fix. Thank you so much for a beautiful place to have a much needed laid back vacation! Kaitlin and Travis

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at Colony Cove! The island is spectacular. The condo was great. It had amazing views. It was clean and had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast most mornings and had all the pans and utensils that we needed. The views from the porch/deck was amazing. It was a short walk to the beach, which was like a tropical paradise. The only downside was that we couldn't actually access the water from this location because it was not exactly a traditional beach. It was rocky with a lot of seaweed looking stuff. I am not complaining, I am just making an observation. It would have been nice to have been able to access the water from this location. The actual gated area was very nice, clean and safe. However, the surrounding general neighborhood was a little sketchy. I still would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay.

Vacation in Paradise

First time in St Croix and could not have been better. Earl, the property owner, was great to communicate with and gave us great suggestions. We loved where we stayed and the different beaches we went to each day. We definitely want to go back next year. The only thing we would do different is rent a car.
