About the host
Hosted by Jason Laos
We are a husband and wife team who have deep roots in Arizona and a shared love for Sedona. One of us is a third generation Arizona native, and the other was born in Michigan but has called Arizona home since the age of three. We now live in Queen Creek and spend as much time as possible escaping north to Sedona.
We love hiking, discovering great food and wine, and spending meaningful time with our family. Sedona has always been a special place for us a place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of nature while still being close to world class dining, art, and experiences.
Hosting allows us to share what we love most: creating thoughtful, magical experiences where people can truly relax and reconnect. We believe where you stay matters, and we’ve poured our hearts into designing a space that feels welcoming, intentional, and special from the moment you arrive.
Why they chose this property
We had been searching for the right place in Sedona for years, and the moment we discovered this property, we knew it was something incredibly rare. The private access to Oak Creek, the sounds of the water, and the feeling of being tucked away in nature all while being just minutes from the heart of Sedona made it a dream come true.
There’s something truly magical about waking up to the sounds and smells of the creek, watching deer wander through the property, and spotting exotic birds along the water’s edge. Most people don’t realize that a setting like this even exists in the middle of Sedona.
In just a few minutes, you can be shopping at Tlaquepaque, enjoying a five star restaurant, or sipping wine and then return home to complete privacy, surrounded by nature and the gentle flow of Oak Creek. It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, and that’s exactly why we fell in love with this property.
What makes this property unique
This home was completely gutted and remodeled from top to bottom with one vision in mind: to create a luxury, romantic retreat where couples can connect, reconnect, and unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort or proximity to everything Sedona has to offer.
The private creek access is the heart of the experience. Few properties offer this level of intimacy with Oak Creek, and even fewer do so while being so close to Sedona’s best dining, shopping, and hiking. The sights, sounds, and wildlife create an atmosphere that feels worlds away from everyday life.
We designed the space to be perfect for couples, or couples with young children who will love exploring the creek and surrounding nature. To elevate your stay, we leave a complimentary bottle of local Page Springs wine one of our favorite local wineries for every booking.
From morning coffee by the water to evenings listening to the creek under the stars, this property truly checks all the boxes. It’s a hidden gem, and we’re honored to share it with guests looking for something truly special.
