The home is three stories with outdoor space on every floor. You have private beach access, as well as a garage to park your vehicle. The first/ground floor has a large bedroom with king size bed and full bath. There is an outdoor area on the ground floor with an outdoor shower. The yard is fenced in so you can bring your pet(s). The second floor is one 'great' room with an open floorplan that includes a living room, dining room and kitchen - perfect for groups. There is a large flat screen LCD TV, DVD player and dining seating for 14. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, toaster, oven and stove. There are also plenty of glasses, plates, utensils, cookware, etc. There is a porch off the second floor that has an outdoor dining table and a few lounge chairs. A full bathroom completes the second floor. The third story has three bedrooms, including a master bedroom that has views of the ocean, a king size bed, flat screen LCD TV and an en-suite double-vanity master bathroom with walk-in shower with two shower heads. There is another bedroom with a queen size bed and TV/DVD combo and finally a bedroom with 4 single beds (a set of bunk beds and another twin bed with pull out trundle bed). These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Also on the third floor is the washer and dryer and another porch with a dining table and a few lounge chairs. The home has cable television, WiFi, ceiling fans, offstreet parking and other items to entertain you, such as DVDs, games, toys, books, and magazines.

Why Matthew Repella chose Coastal

Vacations with family and friends are some of my fondest memories. The collaboration in setting up a spot on the beach for the day, a cocktail on the porch afterwards instead of sitting in traffic driving back into town, a group dinner recounting the events of the day and everyone being under one roof at night. What a great way to spend a vacation. The home is ideal for groups with 4 bedrooms and actual beds for 10 people.

What makes this house unique

This property is a wonderful blend of historic tybee and modern amenities. It is the third home off the beach with private beach access, but has flat screen TVs, WiFi, central A/C, washer and dryer, and feels like a newly constructed home (built in 1998). Historic cottages are charming, but when the hot water runs out, or you can feel the heat coming in through doors and windows that don't seal shut, I personally miss the comfort progress affords us.

Just perfect!

We were so pleased with The Brigadoon. 4 spacious bedrooms, a full kitchen/living/dining room on the second floor. Fully stocked and we only had to bring ourselves. Imagine sitting on the 3rd floor balcony in the evening with a cool breeze and the full moon rising over the water. This is it.

Private access to the beach, a bit of a walk like all of Tybee. Plenty of cute little shops and restaurants. Access to groceries and other shops about 8 mile drive to Johnny Mercer Blvd. Everything is there, plus Savannah is close by. We do plan to return

Great Family Rental

We had a great time this past Easter weekend with our family at this location. We have rented houses for the past 20 plus years for our family Easter weekends. This was one of the best houses that we have rented for our group. The bedrooms were comfortable and the gathering room and kitchen were more than adequate. The house is close to the beach and is convenient to all restaurants. There are porches on each level, which are nice for morning coffee and afternoon coctails. The only consideration is if someone in a party can not walk up stairs since the bedrooms are on 1st and 3rd floors and kitchen and gathering room is on the 2nd. We have no complaints about this rental.

Perfect beach house for vacationing families!

We had a great time at Brigadoon. We spent the week with another family and all nine of us ate and slept comfortably. The beach was close but far enough that the kids didn't wander off without us.

There was a small snafu upon check-in with the lock box code, but it was quickly resolved and Matthew even brought us a couple bottles of wine.

Our last night there some noisy college kids stayed at the property next door, but that's to be expected in a beach town.

We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Large groups will love this beach house!

This beach house was PERFECT for us! The pictures really do not do the house justice. It's attractive, clean and well-maintained. This is a great space for large groups getting together. The second floor common areas are open and very accommodating for family/friends wanting to spend time together. The large, open kitchen with counter seating is a dream! The dining area with additional counter and seating, between the kitchen and living room is perfect for board games, dining, hanging out. We liked that the living room, dining area, and kitchen were all one big open space. It lent itself to togetherness, but separate areas for smaller groups as well. The same can be said for the outside areas on each floor level. Sitting on the deck listening to the ocean waves and birds was lovely. People were able to get private time as well as together time. The neighbors were neighborly. The numerous beach items (bikes, kites, pails, chairs, shovels, etc.) in the garage added some fun to our stay. I appreciate that the owner, Matthew, has left those types of things available. It's not junky, but there are several things we used. There were plenty of towels and bed linens available, an air mattress and pump, and a grill that we used several times. The showers were hot with great water pressure. The location is GREAT! Super close to the beach and all that is Tybee. Matthew was excellent, quick to respond and very accommodating! (He's even sending my teen cousin's retainer to us that was left behind!) I can't say enough good things about this rental. We'll definitely use it again!

Beautiful, clean and convenient

Everything is beautiful and well maintained in this huge, convenient home only two houses from private beach access. Michael was very responsive to minor issues that arose. Bikes available in garage that we enjoyed our entire trip. Location is half way in between north island where you'll find great food (Sugar Shavk ice cream is amazing) and the lighthouse and South Island where you'll find great food (Breakfast Club!) and more beaches and shopping to explore. We also got a library card so that we could check out videos and books for the kids during our week stay. You can easily walk or ride bikes to and from the IGA grocery store as well which was convenient. Kitchen has all that you need to stay in and the place could sleep many more than we had. Beautiful large balconies were our favorite places for sun and reading. Our dog was happy there too!
