Beautiful secluded home. Well stocked kitchen with induction stove and most of the equipment you’d need for cooking and baking. Oil, salt pepper and many dried spices available (but nothing spicy or onion or garlic powders if you need that). If you’re looking to cook in, bring groceries with you - or at least recognize that there are no full size grocery stores beyond Super One in Twin Harbors, i think.Fantastic sunrise view including right from the bed in the master upstairs. Two bedrooms upstairs plus an extra fold out in the master (I think) and another in the den (which can be closed off from the rest of the house). If traveling as a group of adults, you’d be sharing the upstairs bathroom. If traveling as a family with kids, you’ll be happy. There’s a second full bath with shower on the main level as well. Nice hot tub adjacent to the deck with beautiful views of the starry night sky and lake. Beautiful wooded property with what appear to be walking trails on the almost 100 acre property (which we didn’t explore). Fall colors were beautiful everywhere. Lots of brilliant yellow birch mixed in with the conifers now halfway into October. If coming any later than Indigenous Peoples/Columbus Day, check on seasonal closures for bakeries and museums.Many wonderful hiking trails located in the state parks nearby. Highly recommend Gooseberry Falls, Caribou Falls and Cascade Falls and although “Easy” on AllTrails, hiking boots and poles are useful!
