The shower water was perfect hot temperature . House was on the smaller size but worked perfectly for us. Since we only stay at night or in between stuff we were doing.

We enjoyed our stay in Rapid City and found the vrbo house to be in a good location for enjoying historic downtown and Mt Rushmore.The hot tub was nice. Parking was great. We slept well.

Overall the stay was ok, but the place needs a good deep clean. The freezer/refrigerator was dirty, the floors weren't swept or mopped, etc. Hot tub was nice. Plenty of off street parking, in a decent neighborhood next to a park and golf course.

House very dated, worked for us for a last minute booking for Sturgis Rally, garage was a plus. Under vanity in BR was filthy, I have pictures. Behind night stand in bedroom had not been cleaned in no telling how long , I have pictures. Bottom mattress on corners was moldy, I have pictures. Rug in master bedroom ( olny BR we used ) was shag rug needed cleaning very badly. I did call owners and they helped me with wi/fi connection, very helpful in that area.

Where to start. This house is so dirty, the bathroom especially which there is only one. The listing shows a projection screen which you would assume there's a projector. There is not. The house smells very musty, especially coming from the basement. One of the comforters had multiple blood spots on one side, which upon reading checkout instructions you have to wonder when the last time they've been washed was. Early check in was a considerable charge for what you're checking into,and the check out on the app says one thing and makes it seem so simple, the check out instructions in the house are much more intensive and require you to put in more cleaning effort than what I assume the owner of the property does. The hot tub is more like a warm tub with a maximum temp of 99 and you're lucky if you get all the jets to work at the same time. We could not wait to leave this property and after pulling all of the bedding and seeing how disgusting every single one of the pillows and beds were that we slept on, I wanted to shower, if only the bathroom wasn't just as disgusting. I also have pictures to prove all of these claims. Really nice dishwasher though. Also make sure to check under your beds we found an interesting article that did not belong to us. Now that we're home, the musty smell of the house has permeated all of our belongings.

This property has 3 bedrooms and the largest bedroom, with a king bed, is upstairs. The one bathroom is downstairs. We were given a wifi network name that did not appear. I immediately texted Brent. It became clear from this unhelpful text exchange that Brent is a bot. I eventually selected the strongest wifi network shown and used the provided password and it worked! However, the internet was so slow that many pages timed out before loading and some took minutes to load. We reported this and eventually got a phone message from Kathy, who is the owner. She insisted, twice over 2 days, that she had "called the company" and it was fixed. It was not - a tiny bit better by day 2, but if I had to do "real work" there, it would have been impossible. Overall on the house Pros: nice hot tub, lots of supplies - paper towels, laundry soap, pool and bath towels, etc., very comfortable king bed, quiet safe neighborhood, great parking, good fast hot water Cons: needs a deep clean badly especially baseboards, floors, rugs, doors around the handles, blow dryer was so dirty that it was disgusting (sounds picky but was extreme), slow internet (see above), musty pet smell throughout. Owner and Brent were very responsive but not helpful.

We had a great time in Rapid City and the Black Hills. This was the first time we used VRBO and this home met all of our needs. It is centrally located - close to dining ,grocery stores,dining, and all the attractions
